-You have the United ***** College Fund.

-You have Martin Luther King Day.

-You have Black History Month.

-You have Cesar Chavez Day.

-You have Yom Hashoah

-You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi

-You have the NAACP.

-You have BET.


-If we had WET(white entertainment television) ...we'd be racist.

-If we had a White Pride Day... you would call us racist.

-If we had white history month... we'd be racist.

-If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.

-If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.

-In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.

-Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them. they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.

-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.



I am white.

and

I am proud.

But, you call me a racist.



Why is it that only whites can be racists?

This is more of a blog than a question. There is only 1 race, the human race, everything else is just semantics.

Yeah I seen it on myspace too being passed around as well as other places. I think "white" people (I love that term as if most caucasions are even white, they are more like hmmm creamy colored lol) just get tired of being called racist if they use one wrong word that may offend somebody from another race or nationality so they came up with the above thing you posted. It is just an expression of an opinion which in America we are suppose to have the right to do but it is on the harsh end of an opinion.

this is a very good point about the names i think that ANYBODY (regardless of race ) who says them should be called racist its wrong if you are white black brown orange yellow or purple i believe you have the right to be proud but you do not have the right to say your race is better than anybody else's if you want to have a day honoring somebody from your race by all means do so but don't say that person was better than anybody else's person if you want a WET make one you deserve it make clubs and honor those who have helped pave the way for us today but just don't say that you are better than anyone else in any way all people are equal and we should act like it thx 4 listening sweet and spicey

I very much agree with you, I lived very close to the boarder of mexico for the last 15 years and mexicans do stuff in this country that would get us locked up forever over there, but that is becouse our politicians want our hard earned tax dollars and then they are through with us, can you believe this country was actually going to punk out and send Dog the bounty hunter back to mexico to face charges becouse he crossed the border and brought a rapist back here to face charges. Honestly bro I don't know who is worse the mexicans or the U.S law makers

I'm a woman, and also Hispanic- and I totally agree- I will not join Hispanic associations or women only associations . I think that I did not fight for equal rights to stand by reverse discrimination. You will find a lot of minority members agree with you. Surprise!!

i have heard this argument soo many times. but it is a silent arguement. nobody has the guts to say it publicly...maybe white people should claim rasism to the words we usally blow off...

that's total crap. white people who actually believe it are prejudice. white people have never suffered, that's why we don't have holidays, clubs, etc celebrating the progress we've made as a group of people.
and by the way, yes people who are non-white can be prejudice too but it's just not as common and the reasoning behind it is usually different. and to be honest, i don't blame some of them who have suffered from oppression and racism from white people. depending on how you grow up and live, i could definitely see how it'd be hard to trust white people as being anything but racist. there are some of us who aren't though!

I'm not racist i have alot of black,asian, mexican friends and i showed them this and they agree it's not right everyone should be treated equally.
