In central New Jersey it can be anywhere from 200 to 1100 a month. It all depends on if you want a preschool, daycare, religious, one that teaches different languages...ect. We chose a Christian school that has long hours and great teacher. They teach in the morning and nap then play until they are picked up. I like that he is learning good morals too. Its costing about 400 a month for 3 full days a week. This school also goes up to grade 12, so he could stay for years, not just this year. All depends on what fits your family best. Good luck

I work at a coporate daycare center in Northern New Jersey. Our rate for a 4-year-old weekly (roughly 40 hours) is $265. It all depends on where you live, what kind of school he will be attending, and how many hours/days a week he will be there. Honestly, though, you won't be paying less than $800/month anywhere.

You need to call around the centers in your area. The daycare my son is at is now $880 a month, $220 a week. There are some centers out there that are lower, but all centers have waiting lists. Trying to get your son in a preschool would be more cost effective for you.

I live in Polk County not far from you I found a preschool oriented daycare called Bright Imaginations ( not sure if they are franchised or not) but they have web cam that you can check up on them and they provide snacks and lunch for 125 a week.
My friend has her daughter in there she is not even 4 yet and she is starting to read

In Phila, we have childcare assistance for some parents there is still a co-pay but not that expensive, but if you don't have it can range from $100-$300 a week depending on how needy the child is.....
