One of my friends just found out she's having twins, one boy one girl, and Jamya is what she wants to name the girl and Jamelle (Ja like Java and Mel like Melon) is what she wants to name the boy. I think Jamelle is cute, I am just not big on Jamya. What do you think?

i like Jamya but I think Jamelle sounds a lil girlish... if ur not fond on Jamya, suggest Jamelle for a girl and give her a new name for the boy

I dont like Jamya spelled like that it looks like Jam-ya. What about Jamiah or Jemiah. Also what about Jameela. And Jamelle sounds like a girls name! What about Jamon?

I think they will be spelling and re spelling those names for the rest of their lives!!!
Jamya sounds like some sort of food. Please don't take offense but there are WAY better names out there.

Tell her congrats. I hope I can have twins someday. She is lucky!

Jamya? As in "Baby, I want to jam ya!" She'll just love that name when she starts junior high.
Jamelle? In French, "elle" is female form of "it". I'd stay away from anything ending in "elle" for a boy's name.

I like them both but I think Jamelle is more of a girls name than boys... Sorry..

Jamya sounds like a new breakfast jelly. Or pancake syrup.

I dont like it at all.

I don't like either name. I thought they were both girl names when I read the question. Why do people always want to make up names?

I personally don't care for the names. How about:
Joshua and Jasmine
Jaiden and Jaelyn
Jordan and Jalyssa

Horrible names. People who treat their kids like experiments shouldn't have them in the first place.
