I started brushing my sons teeth about a month ago and now he hates it, should I stop and then start in a few months, maybe he was too young? He just turned a year beginning of May

I have a 12 year old son and about a year and a half ago I was letting him and his 7 year old brother visit with there father who lived with his girlfriend and his 15 year old son, His 15 year old son has major major problems and I told my kids father I will let you visit with the kids when your son has visitation with his mother because I dont trust the kid, Well apparently he lied and his 15 year old was around my kids and he didnt supervise, I just find out a year later from my 12 year old that his 15 year old half brother was doing some sexualy oral things to my son and making my son do the same. I am libid over this and my boys havent been around their father in over a year and he is threating visitation on me, The thing is I already have couseling set up for my son but what I want to know:

Those who have watched my posts. See how I have questioned the anger, hatred, and vile temper. That has become so much a part of these sites. Those that answer my questions. Blame it on "Lack of Parenting".
There seems to be a great many children, on these sites. With the wrong image of what being an Adult is all about. There also seems to be (so-called) Adults. That show their insecurities. By feeling the need to put others down. In order to make themselves superior.

QUESTION:
Do you feel these forms of insults. Are the direct cause of lack of Parenting? And would you correct your child (no matter the age) If you found that they were stooping to this level?

Personal note: I was raised, respecting others. I have a great deal of trouble understanding how someone would feel it acceptable to act like this. And it's not doing anyone any good.
Looking the other way. Doesn't seem to cure the problem.

What's your opinion on what should be done?

(Don't bother with the "IQ tests don't measure anything" argument--that's as good as saying you haven't read anything about intelligence and IQ tests. I'm afraid these research results are quite real.)

My two childrens names are Kaelyn (gurl) and Landon (boy)

I am tired of finding bad sitters, it has interrupted my education and working potentential. Is there a website to rate them so others do not have bad experiences. Would it be illegal to start one? My local CCRS provides a list of child care providers but does not recommend one over another. I am not an over protective parent, but my daughter has been through a rape exam, my son hospitalized, and my youngest was given nyquil w/o my knowledge to keep him quite. My kids now tells me the sitter curses them out and I have overheard her being verbally abusive to my kids, her own and others in custody. I am sick of this sort of thing, but as a single parent what can I do. I am usually a good judge of character but it is impossible to know what people do in their homes and how they treat your children.

He doesnt want to spend time with me (mom) like he use to he always want to go over friends house or spend the night with cousins and when he is home he shuts his door to his room and is not very talkable like he use to be. He also has started a habit of talking back or has to have the last word. Does he realize that Im his mother . Is this normal is this a phase or am I being too protective. He is an only child. His dad want to take him to Six Flags and I terrified for him to go without me. He prefers his friends than me now he will be starting the fifth grade in the fall. My only child and help me . Is this normal?

on occasion my 6 week son son will put his fist in his mouth if hiss paci falls out. Starting yesterday though i find him doing it as soon as i put him in his swing after nursing and it looks as if hes hungry. can the fist mean hes still hungry or just tired and trying to soothe himself?

I have a 2 yr old and 5 yr old (boys). I'd like to take better advantage of the time I have on the weekends with them. Since I work full time it seems like during the week I have to be the maid and cook more than mom during the evenings. Anyways, I want to plan a summer fun calander with fun events for the weekends. i have started weaning my daughters. they have gone 2 full days without the breastmilk. only formula and their solids. in the pat couple days my breasts have literally gone up a cup. and c couple sizes. i am back in my pregnancy bras. what can i do to relieve the discomfort? and will pumping help at all or just make me more uncomfortable? mind you i have pumped for my daughters and that didnt bother me but will it help at all with engorging? i am just really needing some help with discomfort
