I know the amounts because I am pumping during the day and nursing at night, is there a way to increase my milk production in my left breast or has that time already passed me by?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and when my morning sickness comes, I can't function, I throw up in the car at work, while walking, in the grocery store...it's horrible. What do you do to function properly, I already have money problems and calling off work isn't a possiblity any more!

The closest hospital to me is something of a horror, I can't get a midwife for a home birth, so I'd like to be fairly thorough in my hospital-shopping.

Did you run into any weird rules, anything you wish you'd known before you ended up giving birth there, with yours?

just incase I need it. Can anyone give me their opinion on the different bradns and types of baby formula and what you like/dislike about them? Also-what is your opinion on giving them formula with lots of iron-it has to make their tummy hurt considering the iron prenatal pill hurts mine.

My kid's preschool has a bathroom for use by 3 & 4 yr olds (both boys & girls). It is between the 3yr olds and 4 yr olds rooms, has 2 low sit-down potty's and a low sink, everything just the right height.

On the doors leadign to the bathroom, there is a paper with this sign in bold "Your mother doesn't work here, clean up your mess". The kids can see this from their tables and sit-down-rug area.

I feel this is a funny & effective sign in grown-up places like offices, but out-of-place here. My kid asked me ?s like do only mothers clean up. And told his playdate-friend, your mother doesn't live here, pick up your toys!!"

I'd like to request them to replace it with some more kid-friendly sign like a cartoon character or a "clean up" nursery rhyme etc. or some age-appropriate printout from the web.

My husband says, it is just a sign, leave it. I think it is OK for me to atleast mention it, and I could also take along couple of alternate signs ? Should I or just leave it?

Around what month or week should I start child birth classes? I don't want to start to early or to late for that matter. I'm almost 5 months now. Also if you could let me know what all they go over and do at the classes, and what we should bring. That would be a big help. Thanks so much!

Okay here is the deal. I am about 2 months late from getting my menstrual period. I know you may be assuming that I am pregnant right? I thought so too. It turns out that I am not because I have taken 4 pregnancy test and each of them have said negative. The last time I started my period was March 30th and on the second day that I started I had to take the Emergency contraceptive pill. Then I had to take it again two weeks later. Yes I do understand about the side effects that the pill causes. I did my part by protecting myself but when the condom tore that was out of my control.
My fiance says that stress might have something to do with it because I have been really nervous lately. I have an appt to see the doctor on Friday. But do you have any idea what could be going on?

I am 22 weeks and I am determined to breastfeed my baby girl. The only thing that will keep me from breastfeeding is if a lactation specialist tells me I can't but it won't be because "it hurts". Everyone I talk to says that it is very painful and I'll probably try to start but won't continue. I say nonsense and I don't care how much it hurts, I WILL BREASTFEED MY BABY GIRL. My question is does it really hurt or is it just a little uncomfortable. And how was breastfeeding for all the mommies out there?

He's throwing up his milk, not taking the bottle like he normally does, very irritable and hard to calm, he's congested, and he has a very bad cough...does anyone know anymore about this? I've looked it up and read about it but I'm scared for him. I will be taking him to the doctor today but I don't know how to calm my nerves until then. Any opinions/suggestions?

I am scheduled to be induced in 2 days. I am already 3cms' and 50%effaced. I Had my membranes stripped yesterday. There is some bloody mucous snot(mucus plug assuming?) and I was just wondering what yall think of the chances that I am going to go into labor before my induction?? I heard that I should do everything to try NOT to be induced since it can hurt more and more of a risk of a c-section???

I'm waiting for my period to come, I'm on CD 32. Not sure when it will show up. So I took a pregnancy test and you pee on it for 10 sec. Then you wait 3 min for the results. Well I waited and looked and it was a neg. Then when I came back 10 min later there was a very very faint second line. So I'm just guessing its because the test sat there for too long, what do you think?

Oh I should mention that it wasn't first morning pee, but instead it was about 2 hours after I had been up.

Looking for a second stroller for NYC mom. Bumbleride Flyer is our main ride. The Triumph looks good because of the shoulder strap. The Quest looks good because its so light. The Techno XT looks good because its got so many bells and whistles. We have a MacLaren frame that goes with the Graco car seat- it was our newborn stroller.

Anyone with feelings one way or another, please respond. Also, any recommendations as to where to purchase one (and ony promo codes therein) would be greatly appreciated.

I took 50 mg Clomid this cycle and I just ovulated on CD 22. If my doctor bumps it up to 100 mg, does that make you ovulate closer to day 14. (My cycles are about 30 days, by the way).

I know that parents can't force minors to have abortions by law, but can they force them to take birth control, like forcing them to get the Depo-Provera shot or something? I am trying very hard to have another baby, but right now I am on day 12 and am being hit with severe allergies. I usually O around day 16-17. I need to take something, but I am afraid most medications will dry up my cervical mucous as well as the congestion. I usually take Claritin D. Any suggestions on whether this can hurt my chances of conceiving this month? Thanks.
