You would have to be at least legally separated from your parents, however you might still have to be 18 since if you are separated from your parents you still have to follow state laws regarding drinking/smoking/gambling/etc. I would not think many would choose a surrogate mother that is under 18 anyway, due to the fact that at that age the body is more prone to complications during pregnancy. Also, usually a surrogate mother has had at least one uncomplicated live birth, which is like "insurance" on the couple investing sperm/eggs/money/time into the woman. Hope that helps some.

i would imagine that it is illegal to have a surrogate under the age of 18, since your parents are still your primary gaurdians, and I dont believe that you are allowed to be paid to be a surrogate mother in any form other than to have your medical bills paid for. Its illegal to pay a woman to adopt her baby, in North America atleast, so I cant see that being a possibility.
Trust me as someone who is a week overdue right now, pregnancy isint all about being cute, i couldnt imagine being a minor and being pregnant, im sure that the remarks that people give and the way people stare would be quite unpleasant.

Legally you must be 18.
Make sure you ask around to other surrogate mothers.
I've seen it WAY too often, there's a "mommy bond" that takes over and your emotions get really messed up when you have to give away the life you have been responsible for for 9 months.

I would say that it would be illegal for the fact of someone being under the age of 18 ( A minor) .
No agency is going to take someone under the age of 18 and do artificial insemination on them.

no you must be 18 because you have to sign contracts dear . and why are you wanting to be a surrogate mother ? I mean most girls your age dont want anything to do with babys . they mostly want to go to school and find good men and good careers .

No, it is not legal in any state. If you are under 18, you are not legally an adult, and are therefore unable to enter into a legal contract like a surrogacy contract.
