i was told 2 start my baby on a sippy cup around 5-6 months and I gave her one the other day and shes doing great with it, but i was just wondering y do they say give it to them so soon and are you suppose to try and get them to take it instead of the bottle .. just wondering any info is apprciated thanks in advance

my girls (ages 8&9) have been asking me for a sandbox, today our neighbor down the road put one of those turtle shaped ones out for free, I looked it over and it is still good and she said I could have it, I called my dad and told him about it cause he knows where to get some sand for free and he said I should'nt have gotten it cause the girls are too old to be playing in a sandbox, I don't think they are, what is your opinion?

Hi,

as I say in the title, my one and a half year old daughter is still not walking!

Her big sis (now 6) walked before her 1st birthday, her brother (now 10) walked just after his 1st birthday, she however is not at all interested!

She had a walker but tried jumping out of it - aieeee!! LOL She has a pushing toy, we enchurage her to walk with this as it will support her, but no - uh-uh!

I have a niggle at the back of my mind. Do you think I'm being daft?

I came off the pill last year&attended a Natural Fertility course in July 06 to learn how to chart my cycles & once my cycles evened out my average length was around 35 days but they are never the same length. Since Oct 06 we have been half-heartedly TTC. I also came off Prozac @ this time & that completely screwed my cycles up for 4 months. Apparently Prozac acts on your pituitary gland which also regulates your hormones & therefore ovulation. Prior to coming off the Prozac my cycles were 35 days, 32 days. After coming off Prozac my cycles have been 47, 35, 43, 34 and 37 days long. At the moment I am up to 36 days of my current cycle&haven't started my period yet. Charting is all well & good but it's basically too late once you find out you've ovulated.
I want to know how I can BETTER PREDICT FERTILITY since my cycle lengths are never exactly the same length.
Clearblue Fertility Monitor-would this work?
Ovulation prediction kits-do these work with irregular cycles?Suggestions?

last period was on may 7. last thursday i bled very little red blood once than the rest of the day it was brown spotting. On friday and saturday the spotting was still very little. on sunday it stopped. My ovulation predictor kit has be positive for 5 days now, it was neg on wednesday and then everyday after that it was positive. i feel like my period is coming. i feel soo fatigue, increase hunger, moodiness, my right breast hurts. what do you think is up?? i took a preg test last wednesday and it was neg. but that was too early. the test line on the OPK is always darker than the control line

we have 5 children already - yeah I know big family.. 2 boys and 3 girls. their names are
Christopher James
Cody William Michael
Cheyenne Norah Renee
Victoria Kathryn Jean
Georgieanna Stephanie

None of my children go by shortened or nicknames - it's something that my husband and I dislike very much - as you can see we have used some of the good ones already and we just cant seem to come up with another name that we like... Yes 3 of my children have 3 names - they are carrying on family names (Michael, Norah & Jean) i added the 3rd in because i didn't like the first name I had picked with the family name - it didn't flow - so we went with three - better flow lol

I'd like something - not plain - but not one that teachers will not be able to pronounce or lead to teasing. also don't really like "old fashion" ones too much...
can you see why i have nothing comming to mind...

our last name is Harris.... HELP any suggestion will be appreicated ...

If ur on ur period can u get pregant? Well see i went to my bf house today and we didnt have SEX SEX but we kinda did! He wore a condom but it was mainly to stretch me out, and then one time we were making out (naked) and he penis touched my virgina but it just had pre-c u m on it. And then he only stuck his head in me w/o a condom but there was no pre-c u m or anything on it! So my ? is Can u get pregant by pre-c u m? My bbt's were high last week- in the 97.3 range for 3 days, then it went to the 96.4 range for three days, yesterday it was 95.2 and now this morning is dropped to 94.3. i have a dr's appt on 6/20 but I was just wondering if anyone knew what all this means. I'm suppose to ovulate either tomorrow or thurs but my cm and position has not changed.

I have a 2 month old baby, she the last few days have been acting really weird, It started with her sleeping patters, she would sleep from 11-4 every night, would wake , eat then sleep till 7, about 4 nights ago she would go to sleep till 2, wake up, eat then fuss the rest of the night, she would be half asleep but start fussin here and there. She wont eat more, when she is eating she will start fussing a little bit, and she is more unhappy thru the day, she doesnt sleep that much during the day, Her swing used to calm her down so did swaddling her, now it does nothing, I know she has colic but she never acted like this before, im worried she might have somthing wrong iwth her, ive tried gas drops, burping her, rocking her, everything, we go to the doc friday. its just weird how it all the sudden started.Any suggestions? Thanks

I know that you are suppose to stop testing after you get your first positive but I couldnt..I kept testing....I had a positive result on my ovulation test for 10 days!! Yeah thats right 10 days!! We broke up a month ago, he called it off and we were very committed until he decided to date other women we supposedly stayed as friends. And he knew I wanted to conceive a child. I'm 29. And since the break up I made a choice of being a single mom and I told him I am going to start looking for a sperm donor, and he didn't like the idea. He said he is willing to give me a baby. I find this odd. He said he knows I will be a good mother to the child and he has no problem with donating his sperm. I really need plenty of opinions. I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
