I have a 2 month old baby, she the last few days have been acting really weird, It started with her sleeping patters, she would sleep from 11-4 every night, would wake , eat then sleep till 7, about 4 nights ago she would go to sleep till 2, wake up, eat then fuss the rest of the night, she would be half asleep but start fussin here and there. She wont eat more, when she is eating she will start fussing a little bit, and she is more unhappy thru the day, she doesnt sleep that much during the day, Her swing used to calm her down so did swaddling her, now it does nothing, I know she has colic but she never acted like this before, im worried she might have somthing wrong iwth her, ive tried gas drops, burping her, rocking her, everything, we go to the doc friday. its just weird how it all the sudden started.Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes you need to peel it. At 2 mos, the "schedule" your daughter was on wasn't really a schedule. As babies grow and change, so do their schedules. Try a bouncy seat, put her in the stroller and walk her around the house, put her in her carseat and go for a drive. I'd ask the pediatrician if you're really concerned. The baby might be getting a cold. Good luck!

When she is eating do you move her around at all? Colic babies usually react well to movement. Also I would try to rub her tummy while she is eating because there is some movement that will not affect her eating. Have you tried a car ride? I had colic when I was little and my mom would put me in the car and I would calm down with that. I would still take her to the doctor just to make sure. Also something that might help is talking a little to her while she is being fussy. Sometimes the sound of your voice can help.

Around two mos. old my son started doing the same thing, so i asked everyone i knew, luckily a friend of mine asked me if i had him on a shedule yet? It had never occured to me that he was just growing and needed a little change. Try feeding her every four hours now, keep her on the shedule for about a week if you don't see any changes tell your doctor about it. if it is colic you are lucky she got it at two months and not when she was born, it usually goes away in thier third to sixth month. Or she might even be teething(it is not unheard of)try some teething tablets. Good Luck

Could be the formula. Happened to my cousin's baby, was really fussy, and she tried the gas drops and swaddling, the whole nine, then got his formula changed from regular Enfamil to I think a soy based kind...or something like that. She went to her son's doctor and they told her to change the formula, and the baby has been fine ever since. Btw, on the zucchini question....I'd grate it first, peels are gross to have in anything lol, especially bread!

i went through this while i was breastfeeding around that time, she would latch on and off it was really painful, has she been constipated or anything like that?? It could be a sign of teething and how sour her gums are, you should see ur ped. just incase. Is she showing hunger signs when u feed her? maybe she is not hungery(im sure she is but was just a thought) Try feeding her in a quiet environment maybe she is getting to distracted.

Something is going on inside your baby girl. Please, when you see the dr., have the dr. check as thoroughly as possible. Try to find something to help soothe her, maybe a ride in the car (I know, gas prices!). Or walk her, sing to her, hum, maybe play a litte music on a cd or tape (very softly) in her room.
Definitely have the dr. check her over really well.
As for the Z. bread question-yes, peel it first. Enjoy! Take care

Maybe she has an ear infection...these are some of the symptons of an ear infection, you could try to give her infant tylenol and only give her half of what it says on the bottle witch is 0.8.
and yeah i'd grade the zuchini first...good luck.

First off, about the baby, sounds like acid reflux. Her doc will probably give her Zantac for it.

As for the bread--I always peel mine.
