i have just had my second miscarriage last week. my 1st preg was fine and i now have a 6 year old daughter. I had a miscarriage in jan at 12 weeks and needed a d&c. i decided to wait a few months before trying again. We started tryin again in april and i concieved right away, unfortuantely i had a complete miscarriage last week at 6.5 weeks. Both my husband and i really would like another child but obviously i am really worried about this happening again. I have RH neg blood type and because of this and the 2 miscarraiges the hosphave offered to do screening tests to make sure everything is ok, but they have said it prob wont show anything and that i have just been extremely unlucky. Any advice please, has this happened to you.

My baby likes her bottles at night. She's 19 months and the iron in her milk is decaying her teeth + he dr said she can only have 2 bottles per day. She drinks from cups too and sips straws very well but at night she yearns for that bottle to keep her asleep. Even going to sleep she wants milk right before she goes. What do I do?

My nephews bday is coming up and one of the things I want to buy him is a pair of shoes. I don't know what size of shoe he wears and not enough time to get in touch with his parents before I'll be buying them. Does anyone know what the average size shoe for a boy who is about to turn 7 is?

There seem to be a lot of women who stayed home with their children in the past (particularly more mature women), who now critisize working Moms? l'm not talking about which is better to do, but doesn't it seem that if you've been luck enough to be able to stay home with your children, you shouldn't judge those who have to do both? I've done both personally, and l can never understand stay home Moms saying that working Moms will never understand the pressure they are under?! I take my hat off to anyone who can juggle a job and children, and l think they should be applauded for the contribution they make to their family AND society. What do others think?

So.My last period was on the 8th of april i believe and i had sex on the 3rd and 4th of may. But, he was inside of me BOTH times for at least 10 minutes total and I made him get off of me. He didnt *** inside of me. But u always have precum so I know theres a chance. Well on the 6th we had sex but we used a condom. I spotted on the 8th and that was that.i went for BC on the 17th and took it on the 20th even though i don't have a period. well the pregnancy test was negative BUT today is the 3-4th of june and my stomach is killing me. cramping and all. I feel sick but i think its from stress. I had a UTI and took meds for it and whatnot. But i have been having symptoms of a yest infection which I am making an appointment to hve checked out. my question is whats the probability of pregnancy? & also what if u have no period when u take ur last pills? I know some ppl dont have symptoms of pregnancy BUT how do you know you are? What go take another test.?

Abortion ... it's bad i know, but think of that poor little baby being stuck in a broken home with alcoholic freak show parents beating the poor kid for no reason.
But then you're killing and chopping up a poor little baby.
(Sigh) .... which is the lesser of 2 evils ?

I know this is going to offend a lot of people, but I am honestly just trying to understand why birth Mother/parents willingly choose formula over breastfeeding. I know many women and babies cannot breastfeed, and that is not what I am talking about here. I mean women who make milk when their babies are born, and choose to buy artificial milk and stick a plastic nipple in their baby's mouth, instead of bringing baby to the breast to drink the special-made super duper healthy immune-boosting milk that our bodies make for our babies. Please enlighten me--it just seems so unbelievable that SO many people make this choice. AGAIN, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CANNOT BREASTFEED, I AM TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CAN BUT CHOOSE NOT TO.

This morning I was sitting outside with a friend having coffee at a local Starbucks, when I witnessed two young girls (about 13-15 years old) sitting at the table next to us. One of the girls, saw a spider crawl across the table and took out her lighter (why she had a lighter one can only guess) to light it on fire! Her friend just watched her and stated "oh you're mean" in a very casual manner. I am not a parent, but I hope that when I do have a daughter (or son) that age, they would show more compassion for living things - even if it is a spider! I was so upset, but my freind thought that I was over reacting. What do you parents out there think?

Please help! I was dating this girl about three months ago. I dumped her because she was a complete psycho and liar. Now she's trying to tell me that she is pregnant and that it is mine. I didn't believe her so I made her come to my place and take the test there. It came out positive. Now, I know tests measure the human growth hormone and all, but is there any other kind of chemical that would mimic the effects enough to get a positive result? Maybe something she either brought along and put on there or something? I know it couldn't have been another person's urine because I know pretty much all the same people she knows, and no one else is pregnant. Don't get me wrong, if it is in fact true and it is in fact mine, I will be taking full responsability, but I have not slept with this girl in at least four months and she is not even showing... something is fishy here. I am almost certain she rigged it somehow... please try to help me figure out how.

I have a vibrator that I use at least once a week. It says on it not to use if you are pregnant. Im trying to get pregnant and just wondering whether this may do something to lower my chances of getting pregnant. Anybody know??

I have a 5 month old little girl and for the most part she is a pretty happy baby. However, every night shortly after her last bottle when she starts to get sleepy she has an hour long crying fit. She is totally inconsolable during this time. I'm thinking she knows its bedtime and she just doesnt want to be away from mommy and go to sleep.

I was curious if anyone else has had this problem and how they handled it, and if this is a normal phase for her to go through?

My baby boy was recently diagnosed with Down Syndrome. He is now several weeks old and his two major characteristics have disappeared. He had slanted eyes and folded ears. Now his eyes look mostly normal and so do his ears. Is this supposed to happen that his looks change shortly after birth. He has no other characteristics as far as we can tell.

I'm getting guardianship of my 15 month old niece in a month, maybe less..depending on when we're all ready for her. We have a son already who will be 5 in august, but it's hard to remember everything. I've given some stuff to my older sister, but I still have plenty baby stuff from my son. I know I'll think I'm all ready and that I have everything..then later find that I don't. I know it sounds a little dumb, being I've already gone through this..but I would greatly appreciate any help. Oh..my niece is in foster care now..so all I would get from the foster parents are things that my brother and my sister-in-law have bought for her..and that only consists of a few toys and a few outfits that she's already grown out of.
