My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child in August 2007. We are both very devoted 'Smallville' fans and are seriously contemplating naming our daughter after either a character or an actress on the show. At this point, we have come up with the following options:

Everyone decided on what they were going to give her months ago (she is only 5 months pregnant,lol) so the big stuff is done... high chair, play yard, travel system, bedding and baby swing..... so I need ideas. I want it to be something useful not some sort of novelty item. I would like to stay under $100 as well. Any good ideas?

I remember having to beg my mom for years, just to get my ears peirced!
It's your childs body, and as long as they're not doing it becasue thier friends are you should let them do it. It's not expenceve and chances are the kid will take care of the healing process. If you dont let them get it done they will probaly try it themselfs, wich could have horiffic results. I just dont understand why parents don't let thier kids change thier own bodies. I would be totaly cool if any kids of mine ever wanted peircings, unless it had a chance of sinking back into thier skin, like neck peircings. Wich you cant avoid, if its going to happen it will happen. Now rents, tell my why you dont want your kid to express themselfs? ITs just a tiny hole..gawd.

I have a 3 month old and we have settled into a pretty good routine. She falls asleep around 8:30 pm and sleeps for 7-9 hours. I was wondering about drinking a glass of wine at night... what if she wakes up at 1:30 am on any give night. And what if I drank two glasses? What is the general rule about time needed before feeding? (I have a freezer supply, so I can always pull from that if needed.)

I breast fed my son for the first 2 weeks of life. He is now 3 1/2 weeks. I had to suppliment him on formula to make his bowels move more frequently and help to rid him of jaundice. This was about a week and a half ago. Since supplimenting, needless to say, I am not breast feeding as much and now my milk has turned rather clear looking.

I havent been feeding him this portion of my milk when I pump, because I am unsure if it is healthy or not.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, what is it?

Am I losing my milk? Has it spoiled from less feeding or what?

Can I get it back to normal or are my breast feeding days over?

I am 22 days late, but I've took like 6 pregnancy test and they all came back negative...I already have two little boys, but when I found out I was Pregnant with them the results said positive right off....Could I still be pregnant even though I'm getting negative results??? My son is four months old as of today. We actually started him on Stage 1 foods last week. He is completely okay with them. He had no problem adding them to his diet. But that's not my problem. My problem is: he does fine on the Stage 1 foods and that's all I feel comfortable with at this point. We are living with my wife's parents right now and my wife's mother keeps buying and feeding him Stage 2 foods. You can tell by how it comes out the other end that he needs to stick with the Stage 1. I have repeatedly asked/told her not to feed him Stage 2 foods. So now she does it anyway and is trying to convince me that 1 and 2 are the exact same thing in different sized jars. I know this is not true. But, what I do not know is: Can this hurt him? What kind of problems, if any, can this cause? How should I deal with this situation (because I'm just gonna flip out and yell at her eventually, because that's obviously all she can understand)?

I know meaning in a baby's name is a lot to think about. I want something perfect. Nothing overused. The middle name has to be Kathleen. Anyone have ideas that would sound good with Kathleen and a german last name, starts with a B. I won't post it because it's very rare and you could find me. lol.
