If you have ever watched Nanny 911 or Super Nanny then you know your son is mirroring behaviors that he sees at home. In order to correct your child you must first correct the adult he is copying, and show him that there are consequences for his actions. This is something that needs to be done every single time he acts up, and not just when you feel it is out of control, as he is then receiving mixed messages.

A parenting classification can assist you study a thank you to set limits and thoroughly discipline your young infants. Hitting them isn't effective, as you have indicated right here. this is the shortcoming of supervision and bounds it truly is the significant subject. infants are inherently outstanding. undesirable seeds are a delusion or surprisingly rare hobbies that have genetic motives. it is your parenting that has the infants behaving this sort. You sound overwhelmed. you will desire to oversee your young infants greater carefully (clipper incident) and determine that dangerous home equipment are placed away after use. experience that they had shrink their faces or ears with the clippers? raising infants is a complicated and 24 hour and day, seven days each and every week profession. you decide on help. touch an business enterprise like the Salvation army or planned Parenthood to verify the place which you would be able to have the potential to take some parenting instructions.

Here's exactly what you have to do. First, you have to accept that you can't control him, or make him do anything that he doesn't want to. You will need a period of therapy to transform him into controlling himself.

You can't ignore his bad behavior, you have to restrain him. Be careful not to hurt him, or let him hurt you, but do take away his freedom by restraining his while keeping him safe. I find that gravity helps, especially when you restrain him with you on top and him back to the ground. God built parents larger for a reason.

Do this EVERY TIME she throws a tantrum, even in public. Kiss him and love him, show no anger but do show understanding and empathy. You are teaching him control by showing him control, so never lose your temper. You'd be amazed at how fast his behavior changes.

Good luck.

while I agree with the "mirroring" theory somewhat, toddlers have an inate reflex to hit, bite or kick (not all, but certaily many). You definitely need to find a method of discipline that works now before the behavior spirals out of control. If he is going to preschool soon this is especially important as they will make you take him out if he is rough with the other children. There are alot of books on boundaries for toddlers and they each have different ideas (spanking, time outs, taking away priveleges, etc..I know how you feel, my 7 year old was constantly wild, but we worked hard and were consistent and now he is sweet and mild mannered.
