Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 June 2007

I went for my first ultrasound today and no gestational sak (it was a trans vaginal ultrasound). The doctor said there is nothing to worry about yet and has sent me for 3 HCG tests--but I am in panic mode. Any advice/similar situations?

Normal discipline isn't working on this one, and she doesn't see the annoying kids anymore - but still I'm seeing their behaviour!

I have pretty much decided on Jackson for my son, but cant decide on a middle name! My other 2 are Hannah Necole & Matthew Riley, so it cant be anything too trendy or unusual... I am considering Ryan or Morgan(after close friends) but not really in love with either of those. HELP

My 4 wk old daughter has a diaper rash that won't seem to go away. A&D Ointment did nothing, and it seemed to be going away with Balmex, but it's getting worse again. Her doctor can't see her until Monday - what can I do between now and then to help her little bottom feel better??

I had my baby girl on Mothers Day, my second child, but my first time breastfeeding. She gained over a lb in her first week, so everything is going just fine, but I was curious to a couple things. When will my nipples stop being so sore?? And, when I think of her, or hear her cry, or just at random, my breasts will have this sharp tingling pain in them, what is that???

ok, I had unprotected sex on the day when my chances of getting pregnant were high. before that day I was on birth control for 6 days..... 3 days after intercourse I took Plan B, now is there a chance that my egg been fertilized??? i have no symptoms except, some mild cramps and headaches.

PS also is it nornal to have a cancer sore after all those hormones??

I am due August 17th. It will still be pretty hot here in aug and sept and I don't know if i need shorts or pants or how many of each I need. I am ordering most of the clothes online ahead of time and i have no clue what to get. i know about having plenty of pj's and gowns but I'm at a loss for clothes. ok i took 4 prego test. 3 with the lines which in all the 2nd line was faint, and 1 digtal which said prego. so when i went to the doc and they did an ultrasound there was nothing just my lining which was thick. im wait for the blood test results... plz telll me what you think?

We live in a neighborhood with a lot of people who have dogs. Though our community requires they be fenced in, I am still a little skeptical about the chances of them attacking the baby. I know I am a little paranoid, but this is a big fear for me. The only times we have went was with my husband , but I would like to take her by myself.

my sister started to breast feed her baby but when she does, the baby starts playing with her breast and that tickles her a lot. she's very sensitive and reacts violently when tickled and obviously she doesn't want to hurt the baby.
when she pulls the baby's hand down, the baby starts to cry and doesn't want to drink again.

My sister had bad postpartum with her first child. She is expecting again, but this time around, she is afraid of getting really bad panic attacks again. I know you can take Zoloft while pregnant but that doesn't quite work while having a panic attack episode. Are there any safe Benzodiazepines for pregnancy?

My son is 10 months old. Lately he seems to be "forgetting" things he used to do. Like he used to always wave bye bye to people leaving but now he won't do it anymore just on rare occasions. Also he is in a Baby Signs class and he used to do about 5 or so signs. He won't really do those anymore either although he does do new ones that he learns. He used to give kisses when you would hug him too. He still does something all the time though like if you ask him to find things. IE: "where's mommy or daddy?" he'll go up to us and he knows how to find the dogs, cat, fan, light and other things. But that is the only thing he continually "remembers" He is learning because he does do new things everyday, it's just hard to get him to do anything he used to do.
