Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 June 2007

My son sleeps on his back. Now the back of his head is slightly flat. I'm worried it won't round out. I look at him while he is sleeping. Sometimes he sleeps with his head up (eyes at ceiling) other times his head is to one side.

I know the plates in their skull don't fuse til they are 12 months. He is 4 months. I'm concerned about this!

Everytime I try to play a board game with my girls (ages 8&9) it turns into a disaster, they jump around and yell and throw the cards and bump the table and knock the pieces over, is it wrong of me to not want to play board games with them anymore?

Ok well my husband had a twin brothers..but one of them got shot...(about 6 years ago) it was really sad. Me and my husband are having twin boys....And one day the subject about naming one of them after Greg (the twin that died) I think its a great rememerble thing to do...but im not sure about if we name one of them that...would that mean our other twin is less important? Im really confused...will you help?

I am 32 weeks and have a fever of 100.5. I feel so hot like Im on fire, I have taken Tylenol and the fever does not seem to be decreasing. Is this cause for concern? My grandmother was in the hospital with a heart attack today and I visited her. I think I may have picked something up while I was there. It's midnight here and I did not want to call my doctor if I am just over reacting. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

I would more likely do this with a male than a female however, that isn't always the case.

I want to give my first son the middle name Michael for my father.
I want to give my second son the middle name Keefe. My mother's maiden name is O'Keefe and there is no one to pass on the name.
I want to give my daughter the middle name Anne, after my great aunt.
I would also, depending on the number of children I have, like to us the names Henrick and Victor, a first name and middle name of 2 of my grandfathers (one great-, one great- great-)
I want to give one of my daughters the middle name Mae, which is my grandmother's middle name.

Now, I know these aren't all possible, I was just wondering what you thought and if you would name your children for someone.

Caiden.
His middle name will be Matthew.
And last name Koplitz (Cop-Litts)
Caiden Matthew Koplitz.

I don't like it when names only sound good as baby, kid names, but not as adult names, and visa-versa. I love this name, so I'm biased and can't be sure if it works well for both. Thanks for the help :)

I was in the store with my "3 year old" daughter, and she looked at another little girl and said "oooohhhh my gosh!!". I asked her "What is it?" She said "She is FAT". I felt so bad, and to be honest, I was speechless!. I told her that was not very nice and big girls don't say things like that!! My question is: Where do little kids pick up comments like this? And how can I prevent her from saying things like this again?

She is TWO and I don't thinks she has a LARGE concept of time. I can say that she can play "later" or maybe "tomorrow" and she will get it, but I don't think she will get "Mommy is going to have a baby in January, right after your birthday". I thought we would tell her when it gets closer to time and she may understand more because she may SEE mommy's belly and understand a little more.

But we are already teaching her to be gentle. She likes to play rough and daddy is already teaching her to be "gentle with mommy". LOL! It is REALLY cute!

Are we doing the right thing in not telling her everything because she is so young or should we be making her trying to understand??

My first pegnancy I had a low lying placenta.Unlike most pregnant women who have a nice beautiful round belly,I had two bellies.It was painful to carry my son,I felt weighed down and couldn't stand to long.I gave birth to him normally.Which was ten times easier then carrying him.What are the chances of me having a low lying placenta during my second pregnancy?

My boyfriend & i have been having unprotected sex, he has been "pulling out".. the other week i had to get the morning after pill because he came inside me(we have had sex again days after this).. my periods are due in a couple of days... it kinda feels like i already have them but dont, there is just a bit of spotting.. i took a preg test, because i was worried.. it was negitive- im not sure if that only was because it was to early to tell- what are the chances of my getting pregnant.. im not so worried about the time i had to get the morning after pill but the few times we did it after that...

I had sex with my friend on April 20th. I got my period during the first week of April and I haven't gotten it since then. And it is now June. My period usually comes around the last/first week of every month and is hardly ever late. I missed it last month and haven't gotten it yet this month.

When we had sex we used a condom and he pulled out. Is there still a chance that I could've gotten pregnant...maybe after he took the condom off or something? I know it's probably a slim chance but is it still possible? how likely is it that i got pregnant from it?
