My 8 year old daughter insists on having the light on at night, she says she is scared of the dark and of monsters, part of me belives her but part of me thinks she is just saying that so she can have the light on to play, are kids her age still afraid of those things?

I don't watch any scary movies and neither does she.

I have tried using a night light but she says it is not bright enough.

My gf is pregnant, going on about 3weeks now. She doesnt want to have the baby, but I keep assuring her I will take it, or take care of it, or do anything for it. I want to have this child, rather than an abortion. Which she wants. I would hate for a child I helped make, just vanish... it would kill me all my life wondering what it would of looked like, or grown up to be like, etc.

I think its ridiculous a woman has 100% say in whether she wants to keep a child or not. I think the man should have a say in it as well, seems he helped create the baby. Although, some would complain the woman has to carry it. 9months, I know it seems unfair, but 9months wont kill you, abortion will kill the baby. It annoys me that people get MAD at MEN for leaving the wife after a child, although a WOMAN can have an abortion an a MAN cant do anything, thats like leaving the MAN to.

Anyways, my gf punched her belly about 15times today... can it affect the baby at this early stage? Im afraid..thnx

ok, i am 38 weeks and 3 days, i went to the doctor one week ago and i was 2 cm dialated, i have an appt. today again, i will see if im more dialated and all that good stuff, ok... i have been having braxton hicks contractions like crazy the past week or more, i will have them non stop for like 10 hours like 5 mins apart then they go away and come back, i have had maybe 10 painful contractions over the past week, i have been walking, tried everything, 2 days ago i took casot oil- did nothing, i didnt have diarrea no contractions, nothing! i have had TONS of discharge, i dont know if its my mucous plug, its not bloody or anything, just regular discharge, just a LOT of it, i went wed and got an ultrasound, baby was 6lbs 9oz, 19 inches, so its been almost a week so add a pound to that, i am going crazy wanting to see my little baby and i know he will come when hes ready, but how much longer till that starts? i feel like im gonna start period all the time and ive been having pains down ther

For school, I'm supposed the take care of a "baby" and I'm also supposed to find out how much it would cost to take care of a baby.
Such costs would include how much it would cost to feed a baby daily, and how often the baby's diaper needs to be changed daily (thus including the cost of diapers.)

I went for an early scan at about 10 weeks to discover we were expecting twins, I am going for another scan on Thursday when I will be about 12 weeks.
I was just wondering if I would feel movement from the babies earlier than a singleton pregnancy, or if it will be about the same time.
I was also wondering how much of a bump I could have at the moment, do I expect my tummy to get bigger much faster than a singleton pregnancy or will it ease me into it gently.
I am not an inexperienced mum, I already have 5 children, but they were all single births.
This is totally new territory for me and I have to say I am extremely anxious about the safety of the babies, mainly due to the fact that we lost a baby at 12 weeks last december, so as you can imagine I am examining every aspect, and worrying about it!
Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

My Urine is bright fluoresence yellow and sometimes orange.

My 2 year old son still uses a pacifier for his naps and bedtime. He will not fall asleep with out it unless he's in a car, no matter how tired he is. He will just lay there and cry until you give him his "Paci" then he's out within seconds. So far its not bothering his teeth but I would like for him to be off of it before it does. That and his daddy continues to give me hell over it. It breaks my heart to hear him cry like that. He just turned 2 so its not like I can really reason with him just yet. Any auggestions??

seems to be almost done. I thought it lasted around 6 weeks? Its turned brown and lightened up, does this mean im almost done? Its not red anymore and there arnt any more blood clots. Anyone stop bleeding this soon? thanks

he says bad words when he is really upset, i know he doesn't know what it means but he just wouldn't stop even if we tell him it's not good to say bad words...
