I think that these names definitely go nicely together, I've always been fond of the name Dalton. It just sounds so noble and kingly. I like it. Mitchell is a cool name too, fits perfectly behind Dalton. These names are traditional, but still unique. They don't stick out like many names, they are calm. I think you did a great job naming your son. Good luck! :)

I've never been a fan of the name Mitchell- Dalton is different though- not so common- but in a good way. Together it sounds like a very formal name to me.

Perhaps Mitchell Dalton would have been better.
Dalton is quite American. I like Mitchell.
It's a bit late, don't you think? You can't change his name just because no-one likes it.

It's an uncommon name, which is good. Unlike "mike" or "John". Since he's just a kid, he can't pick his name, and since you are the parent you had to pick for him. And he's not a dog, so you can't really just change his name if you want to.
It's a nice name, but there aren't really any amazing names people will look at and say "oh my gosh, amazing". Your choice was good in a sense that it is a more unique name. Sounds good together with the last name. Good luck with life!
