I never really thought about it much less calculating how much I spend for my babies. me and my wife just try to do everything we can to provide everything they need.
Though that you mentioned it it is rather expensive. In my country (philippines) it would average at about Php 5,000.00 or $1++.00 converted to american dollar. I heard the cost of living in the USA is about 5 times of ours so maybe about $500 to $600 but its all worth for me and my wife. They are my cute little angels.

I have a 3 month old daughter and It costs a lot of money. I but an average of 12 can of formula a month and there almost $14.00 a can so thats $168.00 per month on formula. I go through 2 bags of diapers a month and there $14.59 a bag so $30.00 a month on diapers. I feed my daughter 6 oz formula every 4 hrs. She gets changed about 9-10 times a day. There are several other things that have to be purchased like clothes ,medicine, I spend about $15.00 per month on baby wipes. Its expensive but worth it when you can afford children.

If you breastfeed, then that's free, but formula is ridiculous at 25 dollars or so per thing of it and you'll probably buy one of those a week.
Clothing is spendy, too. If you buy second hand, then it's not that bad. I've got lots of hand-me-downs from friends. Yay! :)
Diapers aren't that bad. You can cloth diaper, or you can buy the cheap brand. I'm always trying to save money, so I spend about give or take 15 dollars a week on a package of diapers. Go to the grocery store and price that if you like. Babies need about 6-8 diaper changes per day. If you let them sit in wet diapers they get diaper rash.

go to the shops and cost a tin of formula or just say you are "breastfeeding" it is free. Babies go through on average 8 nappies a day. Cost nappies and work it out. I used cloth so it was one outlay. I used vinegar and sunshine to sterilize and soften them.
