Why haven't I called my mother? Well, that would be because she is dead.

Cannot call a woman who has been dead for almost 7 years!
Mother being dead is about the only excuse for not calling your Mom on a holiday in most cases such as being a horrible using monster of a Mom, then a person would have a legit legal and moral responsibility to sever ties with their Mother permanently. A real Mom protects her children, whether they are biological or adopted.

Hey my 14 yr old lives with me. She has a cell and calls me when she's out. As for my 25yr and 23yr old they call me about once a week. As for the reason I don't call my mom. She passed away on July 28 2004 @ the age of 80 and I was there to say good bye as well as my 5 brothers and 4 sisters. We took turns calling my mom so she got a phone call from one of her children(or grandchildren or great grandchildren)almost every day. I miss my mom everyday. But I believe she happy and with my dad who passed away 19yrs ago and my brother who passed away when he was 16. People call your mom. If I had one wish and knew it would come true I'd telephone up to Heaven and ask to speak to my mom and dad just to say I Love you one more time.

i already did. i called my mom 5 times already today and just left her house 2 hrs ago. Course she is taking care of my lil one who is ill today so i'm overly concerned and keep calling to check in. I know he is being well taken care of ( if not spoiled) and well love., but as great as grandma is she isnt mom. Oh there is mom now gotta go. lol

because I am on dial up and can't be on the phone at the same time. But I saw her yesterday and I will see her tomorrow and talk to her nearly every day

because she keeps you on the phone for FAR too long, and when you say "i really have to go now", you actually have to say that 40mins before you actually do need to go. LOL.
i see her often tho. we live nearby. just try to avoid phone calls. she is a gossip chatterbox! not my cup of tea. luv her but :-)
