I was one of three but I was the eldest. I would love to have a third child but husband won't have one because he fears that my youngest would get middle child syndrome and as he is already a handful that wouldn't be much fun.

What is your experience?

I forgot to start a new pack on Sunday night, when I normally take my pills, and didnt end up taking them til Tuesday night. I doubled up til i got back on track, and it's now Friday. I did have some spotting which was more than likely from starting the pack late & doubling up.

I had also forgotten one of my placebo pills, but that's not an issue. I had also had unprotected sex during the weekend, & Sunday morning. Because I didnt start my new pack on that Sunday night, what are my chances or becoming pregnant?

I didnt have much of a period either on my placebo week. It came and gone within 2 days. In previous months it lasted about 3-4 sometimes 5 days.

Now I am spotting a little bit. It's kind of yellow, with a hint of a slight brownish or reddish. Its very faint though. What could that be from?

Okay my 10 month old dd is going to start a new daycare on Monday and she has been with the same lady in-home daycare since she was 3 months old. We have had some small issues with the lady, and just would like our dd to be with more kids her age and have a sort of schedule. I am so worried about how long she will cry. She has separation anxiety really bad even when a grandparent comes to babysit, she will cry and cry. Now there will be 8-9 other 12 month olds, and 1 other that is 1 month younger than her at the daycare with 2 teachers. the younger ones mom will be one of the teachers. Right now she is only around 3 other kids, which are 15 month old, 4 year old and a 2 year old, then the 10 year old grandson. I am just worried she might get overwhelmed at first. Has anyone else had this situation?? Do you think it might change her whole behavior cause right now she is a great, happy baby?

My son only wants milk bottles, bread, cereal, rice, yogurt, or sweets(chips, cookies, candy). He won't eat ANY fruits, vegetables, or meats. When he was an infant, he ate all of those jarred foods- every single flavor. Now I plead with and beg him to eat with no results. I have tried so many things- really creative things. Nada.
I am really upset.
He isn't even taking formula anymore- just regular milk.
I mean, you'd think he was a cow! All he wants is milk and grains....
not even juice.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY delivered my beautiful little girl, Seren Lily, on Tuesday morning after a gruelling 26 hour induced labour, followed by a c-section! Not the natural waterbirth i wanted but, oh well!! I have been using this site since I found out i was pregnant and wanted to say a big thank u to EVERYONE who has helped me over the last 9 months, u have really helped me through this.

Induced labour was not a picnic. My advice after the event - Epidurals are GOD given!

And incase anyone needs a question - how laong was your induced labour?

I am looking for a group for my toddler. I want to have him socialize with other toddlers, and I would like to be able to associate with other parents. It doesn't have to be every week or for a long period of time. But an hour or so once every few weeks. Does anyone know of anything like this, or would anyone be interested?

I stopped breastfeeding my 1 year old daughter 3 weeks ago. She is my third child to have breastfed. Two months ago I started spotting, like my body was starting to get a period. I still haven't got a period since I stopped breastfeeding. My milk hasn't dried up all the way either. I don't think that I am producing enough to satisfy a baby but I am still producing some milk. I have been extremely crampy for the last week. I keep thinking my period is coming and it hasn't come. I took a pregnancy test just to make sure it wasn't that. The results were negative. I just wonder if these things have occurred when other mothers have stopped breastfeeding. I am not sure if I should just go ahead and schedule a doctor's appointment.

My brother has pretty much been a deadbeat father. I love him but I cannot do this anymore. He is 20 and his ex is 18 they have a 9 month old daughter togeather. He walked out and has barely seen her and has not bought anything. I do. I call his ex and ask if the baby needs anything. I have been allowed to stay in contact with my niece and have loved every min of it. Him and his ex fight a lot but thats because she will ask him for money for the baby and he says I aint giving you any money. He has just started seeing a 40 year old woman and they have filed papers to get custody. Full Custody which he wont win. The mom is 18 and young but she is a good mom and that baby loves her you can tell. He thinks he can come in and out of her life as he pleases and hes starting to cofuse her. The other day I finally had it and I yelled at Him. I told him It takes more to be a father than a sperm donation. He either needs to support the baby and help with her or get out of her life and leave it.

Has anyone "successfully" got pregnant after timing intercourse for every other day of the week during ovulation? I did not want to use the basal temperature but have tried to time intercourse based on my Cervix mucus and we have done it every other day for the last week (assuming I was ovulating) and was wondering if this will work? I am not going to take the pee test b/c I don't want to be disappointed, but my period is due next week so I'll wait to see if it comes -- but at the same time, i am so curious whether or not I've hit the jackpot. We have been diligent in trying to have sex every other day for at least a week. Thank you for all your responses!

Does anyone have any personal anecdotes, or can anyone guide me to empirical data, which indicates to any degree of certainty that private school students outperform their public school counterparts... I did both private and public and found at least one public institution which outperformed the private... Also, most people would agree that a parent's direct involvement in child rearing is crucial....

Please comment.

(Also, I reside in New Jersey - anyone with Jersey specific answers will be appreciated... but all answers welcome.)

done with college even though me and her are the same age.

My mom asked me why her biological child is such a loser when her friend's adopted daughter has such a success? Even though I'm trying my best to finish school at this time, I don't think it will take the loser title from me, so yeah why same age, same gender, she has both of her parents, I have 1 (dad passed away), everything else is about the same, why am I such a loser and she's a genius from Yale?

I'm not even stupid and my IQ is above normal (tested in h.s.), so my mom wants to know why I became the loser I'm today, I don't even know myself..any idea?

Okay so I just found out that I was pregnant with my second child, another little boy [I can't wait!], and I've been thinking hard about names for him. Now I've always said that if I had another boy I would call him Trey, but as my two year old son is called Triston, do you think it would be too... strange? Triston and Trey? The othe alternative is Aiden, which both me and my husband adore as a name. What do ya think?
