I FINALLY delivered my beautiful little girl, Seren Lily, on Tuesday morning after a gruelling 26 hour induced labour, followed by a c-section! Not the natural waterbirth i wanted but, oh well!! I have been using this site since I found out i was pregnant and wanted to say a big thank u to EVERYONE who has helped me over the last 9 months, u have really helped me through this.

Induced labour was not a picnic. My advice after the event - Epidurals are GOD given!

And incase anyone needs a question - how laong was your induced labour?

Firstly congratulations, love the name and hope shes good for you at nights!
My partner was 32 hours in induced labour with our second, bless she just didn't want to come out, they were wheeling my partner to another room to get her ready for a c-section when she finally decided to enter the world. My partner said never again! But now we've got three! Hope you enjoy you and Serene are well :)

Hi congrats on the baby.Beautiful name. I named my daughter Isobelle Marie. I had to be induced because I wasnt contracting. I planned a all natural delivery and that went down hill. My labor was 18 hrs 26 min and I eventually had a epidural. I wouldnt have made it without the epidural. I didnt have a c section I delivered a healthy 7 lb 13 oz baby girl vaginally. Good Luck with new baby.

Congratulations! Love love love the name Seren Lily. It's such a beautiful, unique name!

My induced labor was 16 hours and 45 minutes.

I delivered naturally after hours of being pumped full of Pitocin and having my membranes stripped.

And yes--Epidurals are god-sent!!!

Congratulations.

And lest I be reported for not giving an actual answer:
I was induced at 7am, and ultimately had a c-section at 7:20pm that night after the baby reacted badly to the pitocin and labor failed to progress after stopping the pitocin.

And yes, God bless the epidural man.

congrats. I was induced when i had my son. I went in on the sunday at 2 pm and had 1 pessary at 3, slept all night and no pain or sighns of anything so they examined me and nothing happening so had another pessary inserted at 11 am on the monday and had my son an hour later. I was extremly lucky with the labour as it was very fast once it started, 45 mins but tore badly as a result which was horribly.i also had a terrible pregnancy as i developed diabetes in pregnancy and had to inject myself with insulin. congrats again and best wishes to you and your family.

I just wanted to say congratulations. Love the name. We've also picked out Lily as we have been told we are expecting a girl.
