Okay so I just found out that I was pregnant with my second child, another little boy [I can't wait!], and I've been thinking hard about names for him. Now I've always said that if I had another boy I would call him Trey, but as my two year old son is called Triston, do you think it would be too... strange? Triston and Trey? The othe alternative is Aiden, which both me and my husband adore as a name. What do ya think?

I like Aiden better than Trey, and I think it would sound better with Tristan.

I love the name Trey, that is also on my list! I think that Triston and Trey sound better together than Triston and Aiden, but thats just my opinion, they just flow better. Maybe you could use both, Aiden Trey sounds good and you could just call him Trey.
God bless and happy naming!

trey is a good name not strange and shouldn't be even with your older son named triston but i really like aiden too. Maybe as a middle name?

I like Aiden it not a usually name for a boy and I have some cousins named Triston and Trey and they get confused way to much and they are only 1

Trey is good. But does your husband like that too? It doesn't matter if you have Trey and Triston. I think Trey Aiden (or vice versa) is a good option too.

Go with what you and daddy like. Triston and Trey is nice. (I have a Jason & Jillian cause I wanted 2 J's) Aiden is also a wonderful name!

I like both names and they both go nicely with Triston. Aiden has become VERY popular though. I'd go with Trey because it's a bit different.

I love Aiden as a name. I think you should go with a name that starts with a different letter but is equal in length and unique quality. Aiden and Triston are both unique and interesting names that work well together I think.

What about Oran, Jeremiah, Dominic, Jameson, Brennan, Patrick, or Bryan? They're all a bit unique and match well with your other son's name.

Good luck and best wishes.

i don't think trey would be weird with triston, but if you had a third child you might feel like their name has to start with a t or tr......i like aidan better tho, and i think it sounds cute together, triston and aiden......i love the name aiden, but whatever you and your husband think is best......maybe you just have to wait and see him to know if he's an aiden or a trey.....who knows, maybe he'll be something completely different......good luck!
