She's just having fun (or dealing with gas the best way she knows how)! She's got all this freedom to move and she's enjoying it. Just baby-proof your house soon, cause at this rate, she'll be all over the place!

Yes, so, so normal! Between 3 and 6 months, my daughters legs never stopped moving. She's getting used to the idea that they are attached to her, and that they might actually be useful for something!

It is cute, isn't it? What it really is doing is exercising. The legs are getting stronger. If your baby has a mobile, or something to reach for (but not touch and pull down!), it will also help the arms.

my 5 month old does this all the time! Once day he discovered he could and has not stopped since. He even does it to get out attention when its not on him, because then we look at him and he has this huge grin on his face. When babies first discover something new they will do it over and over and over again, for them its completely new!
Good luck with your baby.

Its not silly, its normal, she is discovering her legs. Soon she will probably try to put her feet in her mouth too. Now that is cute!

Not unusual, just exercising her leg muscles. Be ecstatic that she does...some babies don't and usually don't start crawling or walking til very late.
