Don't worry, it could cause alot of stress on you and your unborn child, listing to your doctor, if he says there is nothing to worry about.
Are you counting from the day of your last period if so just think your baby is only really two weeks if you count on when you had conceived.
It would be way to soon to pick up a good view on the ultrasound. Your baby on week four is the size of the "o" on this page, so you can see why they might not be able to pick it up.
Wait until your baby is 9 weeks old he/she will be about the size of a medium green olive.

Often, before six weeks, it's very hard to see things like the gestational sac or fetal pole on an ultrasound. If your doctor said not to worry yet, and wants to monitor your hcg levels, he or she is probably taking a conservative, but correct course of action, wanting to make sure the levels are rising at the correct rate.

No I wouldn't worry just yet, I didn't have my first ultrasound until I was 7 weeks and it was tiny like u can bearly see it, so as long as ur levels are ok honey don't worry, cause stressing is not good for you or that baby.

You're probably OK. Like everyone said, it's still very early.
Did they mention anything about the chance of an ectopic? Did they check your tubes? If you feel any SEVERE sharp pain in your side that doesn't go away, go to an ER immediately!!!
Good luck - I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Listen to your doctor, he knows best. You may not be as far along as you think you are.
