My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child in August 2007. We are both very devoted 'Smallville' fans and are seriously contemplating naming our daughter after either a character or an actress on the show. At this point, we have come up with the following options:
Chloe Allison
Lana Kristin
Lois Erica
Chloe Kristin
Erica Allison
We are searching for other ideas using this concept, and are all searching for feedback on the above suggestions. All feedback is appreciated.

It might seem very bizaree, but it something that means a lot to my husband and I. We're both fans of the show, so to us, it seems perfectly natural to be naming our daughter this way. Oh, and before I forget yet again, my surname is Stephensyn, and she shall be taking my surname at this point.

I gave my daughter my last name instead of her 'dad' ...making her name Chloe Sullivan. =)
Her middle name is Angelique.
I don't think Chloe Allison flows very well. Lana Kristen is okay. Kristin Lana maybe? That's the only combo I like.

I don't think it's weird at all, when I have children I plan on naming them after fictional characters as well as the show (season really) meant a lot to me and was, well still is, a big part of my life even though the season ended almost a decade ago.
I like Chloe Allison the best out of the ones you have listed.
What about Annette Chloe? Annette O'Toole has more of a history with the story of Superman having played Lana Lang in the movie Superman III
Or.. Lois Annette.. or Chloe Annette..

Chloe Kristin is pretty cute!
Even though he IS the villian, you could always use the feminine version Lexi!
I think its cute that you have a theme. Keep working with it, and use whatever sounds best. Because throughout your child's life, other people are going to notice the sound of a name, or the beauty of name before they will notice that you and your husband love Smallville.

I like Chloe Kristin and it goes with your last name (and remember she may change that when she gets married)
My daughters are Chloe & Phoebe. I used to get asked if I named them after "Friends". I didn't, never watched it but used to love Charmed hahahaha.
Congrats and remember it's your daughter so you can chose whatever name is special for you. I read recently I think in Amsterdam a couple are trying to get approval to name their daughter Metallica, but the govt are stopping it even though they have previously approved it as a middle name..

I think that you should name your child anything you want to. Just keep in mind that little kids tease if you pick a name that could rhyme. For Example: Beth Valley could be turned into Death Valley. Pick a name that your child would not regret you for later on in life. Keep it original but simple. Looks like you are doing ok! Good Luck with the new Addition!

I do not watch Smallville so I don't recognize the names at all...however, I LOVE your list of names. They are all pretty names, classics, not trendy, nor not too popular.
My fave is Chloe Kristin or Lana Kristin (I prefer Alana).

All those sound nice. Don't worry about the tv show thing. My mom named me after a character on General Hospital.

Well, most of your names aren't horrible (except Lois--that one is really awful), but the fact that you love a tv show--a freakin' tv show!--so much that you want to name your child after a character on it is a bit worrying.
