Its possible, but not very likely unless you have blue-eyed people in your family.

If both parents had a blue-eyed parent, both carry the (recessive) blue-eye gene. The chances of having a blue-eyed baby in this case are 1 in 4 (25%).

Yes!! It's Mendel's Law.
If both parents have at least 1 blue eyed parent, there is a chance. It happened with me and my sis.
Here's how to do it:

Make a chart. "B" is brown eyes, "b" is blue.
If you and both your parents have Brown eyes you are "BB", if you have one blue eyed parent you are "Bb" (B is always dominant). If you have blue eyes completely, you are by default, "bb".

You chart will have to look like the website below and just make a graph (Figure 3). What is X and what is Y? "B" is always dominant. There is a 25% chance for blue eyed children.

The brown eyed gene is dominant, so you and your partner could each have a blue-eyed and brown-eyed gene but both have brown eyes. In that case, there is a 25 percent chance they will have brown eyes.

I'm not really sure of the odds and all but my husband has brown eyes and I have green eyes and two of my boys have blues and the other two have brown eyes. I think if it runs in your family there is a good chance.

Yes, ok...brown eyes are dominant so think of the gene for brown as a big B (brown=B) and blue is recessive so think of blue as little b (blue=b). now, both parents carry 2 genes each for eye color, which can be any combination of b's (BB, Bb, or bb) if you have at least 1 big B you get brown eyes (BB or Bb), to get blue you have to have both small b's (bb). If the mother and the father both have brown eyes with the Bb combo, then you put their genes in a box called a punent square and what you get is 25% chance of BB (brown eyes), 50% chance of Bb (brown eyes), and 25 % chance bb (blue eyes)

If the grandparents, or other relatives have blue eyes, it is possible that the gene is in the family. However, the odds are in favor of your children having brown eyes.

I dont know the odds...but its possible...my parents both had dark eyes...and dark hair...and I came out blonde haired blue eyed...so if either of you have family throughout your generations that have light eyes...its a definate possibility...but it doesnt happen super often i know that...i just dont know the odds....but back through generations in my family there are light eyed, light haired family members...so thats where i got mine from....

Yes it deff. is poossible!...the baby can get any genes from like 10 generations back on each side of the parents, like if you guys both have brown eyes and someone on one of your side of the family has blue eyes then the baby has a chance to have blue eyes.

that depends on the genetics. I both parents carry the resessive gene, then they can have a blue eyed baby. It's about a one in four chance.
