I don't think that anything serious is wrong. During pregnancy your cervix is irritated and there is an increased blood supply to it making it easier for blood vessels to brake. You can easily spot after sex. If it continues with cramping or becomes more like a flow rather than spotting, I would seek medical help right away.
This happened to me with my first pregnancy. I know how you feel. I was scared out of my mind.
However, you should report all bleeding to your OBGYN, just to be on the safe side.

I had the same at five months with my second child, and did go to the doctor. Had blood tests, and an ultrasound, and everything seemed OK. I was told to wait a month before having sex again to be sure. He said it wasn't that it was sex that caused it, but if we did have sex and I miscarried, it would always be at the back of my mind it could happen again.
Did have to have twice weekly blood tests for last twelve weeks to ensure the hormone levels weren't falling, causing the little one to come early. And had the little one at term, perfectly normal and healthy.
But if in doubt, do get your doctor to check you over, better safe than sorry, after all its your and the baby's health that's important.

I had bleeding with my pregnancy! Went on for a couple of days. If it is bright red blood it is new blood, if brownish it is old blood. I am 37 weeks pregnant and all is well. Go to your doctor and they will give you an ultrasound, gave me peace of mind!

I bled after sex and it ended up that I had placenta previa. I was told not to have sex anymore.
