James, Edward, George, Frank, Peter, Philip, Ken, Keith, Adam, Andrew, Arthur, Alex, Bob, Ben, Bill, Carl, Dan, Derek, Fred, Ian, Jim, Joseph, Clint, Liam, Noel, Mark, Robert, Richard, Sam, Simon, Sean, Shaun, Shaune, John, Curtis, Callum, Thomas, Paul, Austin, Jason, William,
Just a few names that came to mind, mostly from the family though. There are some fantastic websites that give names and tell you what the names mean you should have a look through your site engine and see if you can find any good sites and names that way.
Hope your friend finds two great names she really likes from somewhere.

Derek and David
Matthew and Andrew
The best thing is for your friend to choose the names herself. She should choose names that sound good together. I hate names that rhyme too much (such as Tim and Jim, Ray and Jay, Stan and Dan, etc.)
As soon as she sees those two little boys she will know what to name them.
The father (if he's still in the picture should also be included in choosing the names.)

Most names with a Y on the end are nicknames. ... Tommy, Joey, Jimmy, Billy, Sammy, Harry, Robby, Bobby, Ricky, Mikey, Johnny, Benjy, etc...
If you want a name without a Y, you need to avoid names like Joseph or Thomas because SOMEONE will always end of calling them Joey or Tommy.
Pick names you can't do that to, like
Jason or Jackson or Philip or Alan or Ian or Derek or Dominic
Good Luck!
