Have her bring a "Kid Kit" filled with markers, coloring pages, stickers, etc. Have her bring different things every time to keep their interest. Or you could get one and just pull it out to use while she is there. Kids LOVE the kid kits!! Just remember to keep different things in it every time or it won't last long before they get bored again.

During my summers as a sitter we usually had some games that the kids could bring out only when I was around. It also depends on the age of your sitter.. can she drive?
Maybe once a week go to a movie, or to a park, or a swimming pool or a skating rink.
Get some sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, Basic craft supplies, some simple recipes they can make. Make sure the kids bikes are pumped and ready to go.
When I had 2 school age girls for a summer our schedule was a such: Every monday was bowling (they loved it). Tuesday they had karate lessons. Wensedays we went to the local pool. Thursday was usually some sort of craft or cooking activity. Fridays was whatever we were in the mood for... maybe going out for lunch or to a movie.
There were tons of cheap local classes we could do. We had some outdoor play things and could ride bikes to parks. The main thing for us was just trying to find ways to get out of the house at least once a day. We played lots of board games.. rented a diff video game every week. We had some of those 500 piece puzzles to work on. Sometimes I took the kids to my house (I had a dog that they liked to play with). We went to friends houses down their street. Roller blading was also popular mainly cause I was really bad and the girls found it hilarious.
Try to make a basic daily schedule for one activity each day of the week and then just provide some games and what not to fill up the extra time in each day. Think of your kids ages and what they may like.

There are great ideas found on the web and in parenting magazines, some craft magazines are also geared toward children. You might try keeping family movies on hand, board and card games, craft materials along with instructions in case creativity does not lead to their own creations. You might also look for activities they could all attend at the library, park or find games they can play outside. You could also buy bubbles and sidewalk chalk for nice days. Or find some books they can read themselves or have the babysitter read to them. Here are a few links for some ideas.

Hope this helps.

Buy her an activity book for her and your kids with stuff in it your kids would like to do.
Giver her about $10 and maybe they can go on a walk to the store or something or somewhere to get ice cream.
Make sure she knows its ok if they go outside!

Buy board games they can play together. Give her a list of things they like to do. Rent a family film they might all like to watch. If she drives, give her extra money and have her take them to the pool or to a fun center.

During the summer, I would suggest something educational, you could get one of those leapster big screen tv things. Other than that, you need crafts and movies and time consuming things for them to do.
