Every woman varies. If you nurse, it takes a significantly shorter time period. And some women never lose it. A lot depends on: one, how much did you gain during pregnancy,; two, what did you look like before, ; and three, what you do after. And the most important factor, GENETICS. Did you Pick the Right Parents?

That "still pregnant" look goes down, usually in about a month. Now, to return to pre-pregnancy size SHOULD take about a year. Some never get back down, some do it lightening fast. After my twins, I did not still look pregnant right after...it was odd. But, I still had other weight and weight in new places to get rid of. Everyone is different. Best of luck.

Some woman never lose it, some come out of the hospital looking back to normal. It really varies per woman. It took me 3 months my last pregancy with alot of exercise. And sadly, some girls will never look the same ever again.

DO NOT go to the gym!!! I tried to do a work out to get the baby fat off before the recommended 6 weeks and consequently have serious complications. Only a man (Mark F!) could say that would help!

Breast feeding helps reduce the tummy, mine took 2 weeks brestfeeding, my sister's took about 6 weeks, don't stress about it, it will go away.

That's different for all women. It depends on how much weight they gained, how they delivered ( naturally or c-section ) and how they plan on feeding their child.
For me, I gained 22 lbs, had a natural delivery, and exclusively breastfed, and I looked 'normal' again almost right away. Some women don't ever look normal again. It all just depends.

It differs from woman to woman. It took me a month for the swelling to go down and a few months to look normal. But naturally it takes a year for your body to adjust back to normal. :)

It should go down in about a month. You might still have excess skin from the elasticity of the baby, working out when you are ready will help that go down as well.
