I am going in tomorrow for a 20 week ultrasound, can anyone tell me what they will be looking at as far as the baby's health and the placenta and cord and all of that?? ( I already found out it's a boy by an earlier u/s at 17 weeks)

I have 3 childern & i would sometimes like to go out with my husband but never have a babysitter when i need one. Our families would usually do it but have social lives themselves. I don't know anyone around where i live & don't know what the legal age is for babysitters. What should i ask them & look out for?

Since he was about 10 months old and up until last month, he'd been sleeping in his own bed and in his own room through the night without any problems. Recently, it's just been a nightmare. He gets up almost every hour crying and screaming for us to hold him until he falls asleep. I've tried moving him into our room and into our bed, but it hasn't solved the problem. He still wants to be cuddled to sleep. He's perfectly fine - it's not what we feed him, not teething, not illness, not a growth spurt...We just can't figure it out! We need our sleep! Advice anyone?

...your daughter dress for school? I have a 16 yr old girl and she dresses very modestly but stylish, but some of the girls at her school are half naked and we live in a cold climate. What's up with that? Do parents ever say NO to their kids anymore? And PS how can the boys be expected to concentrate on school work with these half naked tarts about?

My baby is turning a year old on Feb. 2nd and I'm trying to wean him from infant formula to whole milk. And so far its not so good! He will take a sip of it and realize its not his formula and spit it out and then throw his cup/ bottle whichever one I put it in. So I'm not sure what to do. Someone Please help me!:)

I had a HORRIBLE 1st pregancy but carried full term and had a pretty healthy baby (has a heart murmur) but otherwise we have been blessed. But because of this I am scared to get pregnant again. How do I get over this and try again?

Sometimes when my son thinks I'm sleeping he will come into my room and start touching me and playing with himself. He's 13 and I know he is just going through puberty but I'm not sure if I should bring it up to him or leave it be. I'm afraid that if he sees that I woke up while he is doing it he would be embarrassed so I need to speak with him at another time than when it is happening. I'm hoping it is just a phase and it will stop on its own. Any suggestions?

i stopped my BC on the 11th of jan and i got my period on the 24th do you think i will still ovulate in 14 days? since i just stopped my BC my body may not be regular yet? or is it possible that my body went back to normal right away?? im just confused!!

we have been together for 5 years and we just had our second child on the 22nd. my fiance works from 7:30 am to 5:00pm. and he thinks he doesnt have to help take care of the kids. i sit home all day with them. by the way the other one is a boy and is 3. so you can imagine the stress i have with him. but he comes home and wants to do his own thing. he doesnt hold his newborn or even ask how my day was. it makes me feel like he doesnt care. plus we live with his parents and that is very stressful for me and i try to tell him and he doesnt even say a word. i dont know what to do or how to get it through to him how i feel. i have told him straight out before when i was pregnant with the 2nd child that i feel like he dont care and he didnt even try to change. it was always me talking about the baby. but he said he wanted another child. plus i am 19 and he is 21. any help would be great thank you.

For the past two nights I have heard a lot of arguing and cursing coming from my neighbor's house. I happened to look outside last night and saw my neighbors 15 year old daughter sleeping in the dog house. It was 10 degrees outside here. I was outraged. I went out their to talk to her and she said that her parents had put her out of the house for eating too many pork chops. I tried to get her to come into my house but she was too afriad. She didn't want her parents to be anymore angrier with her then they already were.
My husband told me that I need to shut up and mind my own business and let the neighbor's handle their own business with their own child. Should I continue to let the neighbor's put their daughter out of the house or should I contact someone about what is going on next door?

How am I suppose to enjoy her, when all I can see is cot death, im so scared to sleep at night incase she dies, im so scared of loving her incase she is taken from me. How am I suppose to get through the next 6 months? Im scared I even eat/bath/dress fast so im not away from her long.

We have never had cot death, illness or baby loss in the family so dont know why this effecting me.

My 8 month old used to sleep through the night and now she is waking up almost 8 times a night!! She does not scream and she is not hungry. I usually go in and give her, her pacifier and sometimes she goes back to sleep sometimes she doesnt.
I also try giving her some juice and she takes a couple sips and goes back to sleep. I am so tired throughout the day by waking up 8 times a night and I will also be starting a new job soon.. Any suggestions????

the doctor told me to not give her milk at night when she wakes up from sleep and substitute it with water. DOes that sound right to you guys?

My fiance and I are planning to create a child within the next few months to come. However, I wanted to get some opinions from everyone as to if they truly are happy having a child, or if they wish they had waited longer? I've had a lot of friends who have had children early in life and always complain that although they love their child with all their heart, they wished they had waited; or they say they weren't fully aware of how much of a full-time responsibility it was to have a child.

I don't care how old you are or when you had your baby - are you happy you had a child/children when you did? If you could go back and change your decision, would you? Why or why not?

Me and my husband have been trryin to concieve for around a year i ovulated last sunday, positive OPK kit and i also get slight ovulation cramps so im pretty sunday. My period is due feb 5th but i intend 2 take a test a week 2day the 7th. The wait is driving me crazy this month because im pretty confident we have concieved this month but dont wanna test 2 soon and get a false negative. Anyoneelse goin thro the same thing?

I have scoliosis and i was wondering if anyone was pregnant or has delivered if you could share some stories...My husband and i are trying to concieve, but i'm scared about the delivery...Has anyone with scoliosis had an epidural, i'm afraid of that because i just dont want anyone near my spine with a needle, also what other pain relief medication can you get instead of just natural childbirth...And i'm also concerned about the back pain, how bad it was, cause i deal with back pain on and off anyway...I'm just looking for personal stories, everyone says talk it over with your doctor, but i'm just looking for some personal experiences/insights...Thank you in advance...

my hubby n i had sex during ovulation time (im on ttc)
he ejacuvated only a bit bt deep inside(as i have vaginal dryness, we use condomn cut on its tip)..after pulling it out, i was unable to feel the semen inside nor it is flowing out??
is it tht for everybody the semen has to flow out after sex? will i b able to get pregnant?
i seriously have this doubt on mind..no rude answers plz,,
