My baby is almost 2 and I'm still using the monitor so that I can hear her if she wakes up crying. She's been sleeping through the night 99% of the time since she was 5 months old, but there are occasions where she's not feeling so good and will wake up. She's still in a crib, so she can't exactly get up and come get me. My husband and I sleep with a fan on in our bedroom, so I need the monitor, otherwise I wouldn't be able to hear her at all. But, when do I stop using it for good? When she's 18 or what? LOL

My stepdaughter is just now becoming a rebellious teen and is neglecting to do her weekly chores. We can't ground her because my husband and I both work so that we’re not home to prevent her from leaving the house during the day. She doesn’t drive or collect an allowance. Really we've really never had a reason to punish her in the past. Any suggestions?

i am trying to get my daughter to wear glasses, but its very difficult as she hates hats, socks, shoes anything near her face. i would be interested in anything you could suggest to help. I have made a toy box for her with toys in it that she can only play with when wearing her glasses she is coming around to the idea, but any comments or suggestions from you would be grately appreciated.

Now She is putting me on restriction to.
My sister has skipped the last 3 days of school she is a 8th grader
And her bf is 18 and a senior.
My sister didnt use a condom.
I dont know what to tell her.
She has been very sick.
My Mom was worried until she looked at my sisters grades online
and saw that she hasnt been going to school.
We used ept, pregency test, she came out Positive!
My mom is still deciding to get her an abortion or keeping it.

going by my dates i should be 11 wks pregnant going on 12. i know the exact night i conceived. i have been bleeding when wiping for two weeks now and have had one small clot. i rang the hospital and was told i may be threatening miscarriagand. i got a scan 4 days later and the doctor couldn't find a baby only a sac. i got an internal and was told i am only 6 wks.
The doctor didn't have an explanation and i am 2 go back next week for another scan.
it may be that i've miscarried the fallen pregnant again but then i haven't had heavy bleeding.
doctor says i have dates wrong which i know i haven't and that they can't see nothing in the sac at 6wks and thats why i've to go back, but my friend is 6wks going on 7wks and the doctor found her baby and heartbeat straight away.
i'm really worried and would be grateful 4 other peoples stories of similiar situations.

I am 18 weeks pregnant with my third child and am steadily losing weight (not intentionally). I have lost about 8 lbs. This is very upsetting to me. I lost 2-3 lbs the first trimester of my second preg but I seem to be losing more weight each month with this pregnancy (1-2 lbs in the 2nd and 3rd months and 4lbs in my 4th month). I am not overweight, I have a BMI of about 25-26. Someone please tell my why I am losing weight and if it is a serious risk to my child.....And what I can do about it..

My son is four weeks old he is fomula fed. He is on SMA White for more hungry babies but is still feeding every two hours 3- 31/2 onces sometime four but is still wanting to be fed every two hours. I am getting so frustrated! She only wants noodles, rice, raisins, bananas, chicken nuggets, alphabet cookies, crescent breads and sometimes turkey breast sandwich and omelets.
I try to grind veggies such as spinach ,bell peppers,carrots and cook together with the rice.I also make veggie patties with t.v.p (soy meat),and other types of foods and I guess she doesn't like the texture of them, because she stiks her thong out and if it's texture is different than what she is used to eat, she rejects it.

My 4 year old's father does nothing really for her, I really regret even bothering with trying to force him to pay child support for her, he lied about his income so he pays really nothing per month he's behind about three months and he has back support. He never see's her his choice, and mine due to his careless life, and actions, she has a step father that has been in her life since she was 4 months old, she loves him, and he loves her, but now that I want to let him become her legal father, which he agrees on, due to her dead beaters legal aspects, he doesn't want to drop his rights to her but he does nothing, she has my last name she knows nothing about him, so how do I get around him? My daughter will be 2 years old on April 3rd. I have heard that you should get a toddler bed when potty training so that they could get out of bed on their own to use the bathroom. Well, she is in the process of being potty trained, but she still isn't dry all night through (we still need to tackle that during the day first). I also don't want her to have the option of running around in her bedroom at night instead of staying in her bed. With a crib, I don't have to worry about that. She could climb out if she really wanted to, but she doesn't ever try (not so far). So, how exactly do parents know when to get a toddler bed?

At first I was thinking of naming her Trinity Nevaeh (pronounced Ne- Vay-uh)

But it seems that a lot of people don't like the name Trinity. Should I put Nevaeh as the first name and Trinity as a middle name?

so because it could be inplantation i could be pregnant? so if it stays a little bit of blood and it is like that tomorrow then i could go ahead and get blood work or take a test? the way it looks now is that it is only a spot on my pad and it dont to much look like blood, and nor do it smell like blood. how long is inplantation blood suppose to last? meaning how long will you keep spoting? please hit me back up today.

My parents and I have been having a fight, of course to them they are never wrong and I am always wrong. They treat me like dirt, and lately I have been getting literally sick from every thing. I cannot continue to live this way. I started college level classes last semester at the community college to try to get a good education and get out from home. But ever since I started things have been getting worse. I turned 17 in Nov. and my dad told me that this semester I would HAVE to take his math class or I cannot go to the community college. (Both my parents are math teachers there). And that was the worst turn for the worst of many. My dad expects nothing less than perfection. And what started the fight today was my dad yelling at me about doing something wrong in the homework. The thing is that 2 days ago I ASKKED him how to do it, and followed his directions EXACTLY. I have been staying up to 3am doing homework EVERY DAY for the last 3 weeks because I cannot do homework in the day.

ok, my period is usually 30 days long... but last month it was only like 25. My question is, this month will my cycle be 25 or 30 days long? When should i start my period?
The reason I am wanting to know is because im on day like 27 and my period has not started yet and for the past two nights I have woke up EARLY in the morning feeling SO sick... i mean seriously sick and I threw up both nights, but especially last night(I swear i must have puked every 10 minutes!) but, at about 8:00 in the morning I start feeling fine again for the rest of the day until early the next morning.
I just wanna know what you think?
I have had unprotected sex, do you think that I might be pregnant?

This is so weird. I wish I had an ultrasound machine at home so I can check on my baby everyday! My next appt is on the 15th of Feb where I will be hearing the heart beat! But until then, I am just feeling scared. I think I'm in a stage where I am not getting big, I have no major symptoms, and I am feeling anxious.

i had a cervical stitch (cerclage) put in two weeks ago and the only restrictions the dr gave me was "nothing in the vagina" so that means no sex obviously, i have an incompitant cervix which was the reason for the cerclage so i can understand why he wouldnt want anything inserted into the vagina. but i am wondering do you think that means no doing anything that would make me orgasm? sorry if that's an uncomfortable question, i kind of am scared to ask the dr that. i have heard that orgasms can cause the cervix to thin, not sure if this is true or not. anyway if you have any thoughts or suggestions let me know, i wasnt sure/
