I am also 11 weeks along, and I've seen my baby via ultrasound already. I'm going again on the 14th of Feb, how funny is that?
Anyway, last week, I got all of my energy back - I felt like my old self. No nausea, no symptoms at all, (my boobs and belly didn't shrink, or anything, though). I worried all week that I lost the baby because why else would I feel so good. Well, now I'm jumping into week 12, and I have to say, I feel worse this week than just about any other week. I am really, really tired and my nausea is back with a vengance.
I think I'm being punished because last week I wished to feel awful, just so I'd know everything's OK. I guess the message I'm trying to get across is - you will feel great some days, but it doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant anymore. Just relax and I'm sure everything will be fine.

It's totally normal. Don't worry. I'm assuming this is your first pregnancy. If so, you probably won't start showing until you're at least 4 months, and you most likely won't really look pregnant until about 6 months. It's kind of a bummer because pregnancy is such an exciting time and you want the world to know you're pregnant, but just be patient. Most pregnancy symptoms diminish around 11-12 weeks because the hormones are more stable by then. I'm 8 weeks and the only symptom I've had this pregnancy is slight nausea. With my last 2 pregnancies, I had sore breasts, but nothing this time. I had a miscarriage my first pregnancy, so my OB did an early ultrasound on me last week and I got to see the heartbeat flicker on the screen. It was such a relief for me. I know 2 weeks seems like forever, but try to relax. Once you hear that heartbeat, you'll feel so much better. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

I went through that to. Where you are scared because you don't know what is going on. I remember when I got my 1st ultrasound and I 1st heard my baby's heart beat. I was so relieved.
They sell baby heart beat moniters at stores. So if you keep feeling kinda scared you can go buy one from there and listen to ur baby. They aren't as good as the dr's professional ones so the heart beat will sound faint but at least you can stop worring so much. :)
When I was pregnate because I was on WIC, And Medicare (Or Medicade...I always get them mixed up) The health department in my area had a nurse that came out to my house and checked on how I was doing and how the baby was doing between dr's Visits. It's a free service if you can quilify. If you know u can't then u just just buy a baby heart beat moniter at the store.
Until then just relax and remain calm stressing hurts your baby because all the emotions that you go through the baby goes through too. Besides you get to buy all kinds of neat and cute things while you are pregnate.
I just got my minds off of those things by thinking of all the stuff I would get to do once my child was born. I was also thinking of names and thinking of all kinds of things I needed and wanted to buy lol.
I am sure that you are fine. All mothers go through this. Don't worry once your in your 3rd trimester the baby will tell you when they are there. My son kept kicking me and streatching my stomach out lol. So Just relax and enjoy being pregnate because once the baby is born.......You are going to have a whole new set of things to worry about :)
Congrats and best wishes.

Yes. I'm 17 weeks and have my next apointment on the 15th of February too. But, at that one I get to schedule my big ultrasound!! The gender prediction :))
With my last pregnancy I gained about 20 pounds by this point. This one I'm lucky if I gained five. It's been a whole different pregnancy. I don't have any more morning sickness...just tired.
At this point before you can feel the baby move it's all anxiety filled. For me anyway. But, once you can feel him or her move it's the best part in the world! After I gave birth to my son I missed feeling him in there :))

Yes, I've had a very uneventful pregnancy thus far 37 weeks. And you've grown up hearing all the horror stories about morning sickness and aches and pains so you worry that if you don't feel the same something is wrong. Its not, everything is fine. Each pregnancy is different. You are just lucky that you are having an easy pregnancy thus far and hope it continues. Enjoy...next time around you may not be so lucky...lol.
I remember wishing I had a little window in my tummy so that I could look in on my little one during that time. That all changed when I started feeling her move...now I just worry a little when she doesn't move for a while...probably can't wait to be born in hopes that mom will quit poking her while shes sleeping...lol.

I'm no expert on pregnancy but I know about ultrasound and trust me you wouldn't want to r be bale to do an ultrasound at home. They are very safe to do a few times but every single day could start to cause problems.
This is one thing I heard from one of the best ultrasound techs in the country. Don't ask about the gender of the kid. An ultrasound test is a very useful tool to determine the health of your baby and it gives much more important information than just the sex of the baby. Let whoever is doing the exam do their thing before you start asking questions.

That is very normal. I think we all wish we had US machines at home when we're pregnant. It's so hard when you can't feel the baby move and you're symptoms are easing up on you. Trust me, it's too early to really be showing much and you won't feel the baby for several weeks yet, but you're at week 11 and that means you've almost passed the "danger zone" of miscarrige. I bet everything is just fine and baby is growing normally. Weird to think that the kid is doing cartwheels in there and yet still to small for you to feel them.
Good luck and be paitent. Try rubbing your belly and praying. : )

I was so scared when i was pregnant for the first time too sweetie it is natural. You need to stop stressing. Everyone goes through pregnancy diff i was one the the rare ones that had all day sickness through my whole pregnacy upto and including the day he was delivered. If in your area you have a toys r us i bought a thing that i could listen to the babys heartbeat it came with 2 headphones so daddy could listen too. Whenever i got nervous and everynight before bed i listened to his heartbeat and it made me feel better. Just relax that is the best thing to do for you and the baby. Enjoy the fact right now you have no morning sickness cause that could change tommorow

I don't know if this will reassure you or not. Had a friend who did not gain weight until her 7th month. And the only real symptoms she had was loss of her menstral cycle. As for labor she had two pains the shoulders and the head.
Some women just don't have strong nausea etc. Enjoy the peace of no symptoms because they could come at any time and you will miss the days when things were going smoothly.

It is fine...you are just heading out of the first trimester into one of the really "good" periods where you feel better and aren't huge. Enjoy it :) But it is normal to feel anxious. If being anxious is normal for you - research renting a home fetal heartbeat monitor (like Baby Beat). You can just rent them while you are pregnant and you can use the doppler to check for a heartbeat when you are nervous. My good friend did this when she was pregnant after a miscarriage and she said it really helped her from turning into a nervous wreck.
