Pregnancy & Parenting - 15 November 2006

i had unprotected intercourse on 10/25, i was ovulating at the time. my period was due 11/9...normally when i get my period i get a weeks worth of cramps b4. however right now all i feel is really tired, and dizzy sometimes and headaches everyday, i also feel slight pressure sometimes, but its very slight, i feel as though something is going on and i've been urinating a lot sometimes i wake up twice in a night, today i started having this sudden naseau i took a preg test 1 wk ago first response, which came out neg, i think it was too early to test being that it was a week after the act, now i don't have my pd was due 11/9 and i feel no signs of it watsoever. i waiting to take the next test 2wks after i'm late. right now i don't have health insurance still waiting on some paperwork, but i'm planning on going to the doctor in about 2 wks. what are the chances of me being prego? has anyone experinced this?

My son is very well behaved at school- sometimes very quite and soft spoken. But when he comes home- he shouts, laughs loudly to the point of irritation and simply does not listen, often hits his baby sister who is 14 mths old.
Both my husband and i work and within 5 mins of either of us being at home with- we end up shouting or screaming at him. I sometimes loose it and then hit him.
I tried timeout- all he does -by standing there and crying immensely, i tell him to shut up - but he bawls away or coughs as if he is going to throw up.
Sometime i try the counting ritual - where i tell him i will count till 3 and on the 3rd count i will hit him... and again- he waits for me to count till 3 and then he moves.
I am so disappointed - that i feel i have failed as a parent to get his respect.
Simply every minute i spend with him is a struggle- he is either running like crazy or hitting my daughter or not eating his food or drinking his milk. I end up shouting at him ALL the TIME. HELP

this is around the same time that I went back in May and found out I had miscarried. So I am really nervouse. My partner could not get off of work and non of my friends seem to have time to go with me I am scared to death to get bad news.
So does any one have any ideas on how to stay relaxed till 2:10 and what should I say to those who were not there for me?

oh well my friend and i went to the doctor. i went with her cuz she was afraid of getting some news about she was preggo. the thing is that the doctor... i noticed he wasn't too clear with his answers about what she got. Its crazy the figure we saw in the test she got... it seemed like an egg. the thing is that he wasnt too clear with her... and he told her she wasnt pregnant. she got medical prescription. BUt yesterday she was sit in the office... and she felt like she was peeing and when she saw down her feet.. it was bloody. wtf? she said she called the doc and he said it was "normal". i dont think it is normal!!! i asked her to go to another doc. Actually i think she got a pregnancy loss and the doctor just dont want to let her know ( he was the one who participed in her born )

what you think she gotta do???

My little girl will be a year old on the 7th of December...she weighs 24.5 lbs. Currently she is still rear facing in her carseat, but she's so tall her legs are scrunched against the seat of the vehicle...she can't stretch her legs straight. Do you think it's ok to turn her around to face front in the backseat at this point?

My husband and I just found out that we are expecting our 2nd child this is suppose to be a happy time but the doctors say if I go through with the pregnancy I could have severe blot clots due to a very rare blood diease that they found with the our first child but I feel fine and I dont know what to do about it. My 6 month old will stay awake for 8 to 9 hours straight and then she just screams and screams because she is soooo tired she cannot sleep. Nothing i do soothes her, holding, rocking, feeding, singing to her nothing i am not to sure how many more days of this i can take any advice please??

.. i took her to health visitor. health visitor said its sharp she wouldnt have swollewed it. or she would be choking. anyway than i look her poos everytime when she poo.. but i saw nothing... than i took her to A&E and doctor said its possible she might swollewed it but didnt give her a x ray.. he said it s not necesarry. he said only think i should watch in 3weeks if she is unwell or have bloody poo.... anyways now today i found scratcs on her leg looks like from my cheap metal earring... is it possible my 1 year old baby would get tetanoz???i am so worried she scratched herselff with that cheap metal.. and that metal maybe in her stomach now.. i am so worried she can get tetanoz as well... :,( i am an idiot. please answer me is it possieble for my baby to get tetanos ?? she had all her tetanos injections.. :,(( ps. sorry for my english (not exactly queens english)

wow what can i say my kid hasent been right after this happened. i cant beleive they cain kids in this country. i've been suspecting i'm pregnant so yesterday i went to have a check-up.i'm really bothered about this thing that the doctor said about my baby.next tuesday i'm going to have another ultra sound.my friend asked her o.b. about it and she said it's because they did abdominal ultrasound that's why they cannot detect it too early.better if they did trans-vaginal ultrasound.but i want to know more information that could settle my mind.please do help me?!

I've been with the father of my son for 4 years and were married being young doesn't mean I cant be a mother and I will keep my legs open to my husband as long as I want to. I've never been told that getting in a tanning bed while you're pregnant is unsafe for the baby (this is my 3rd pregnancy) I guess that just what I've always assumed... But my sister in law is pregnant right now and so am I. She still goes to the tanning bed about twice a week. Is that safe?!
