I lost part of mine at 35 weeks and the rest when i went into labor at 40 weeks! This can mean that you can go soon or you can gradually keep losing yours like I did! Its different for every individual.

Sometimes you do lose it gradually. With my first, I think it pretty much came out in one big clump. (Went into labor about 1 week later.) With #2 and #3 it came out in bits that were basically not even noticable! If you don't go into labor w/in 48 hours of losing your plug, it will regrow. There's really no way of telling when you'll go into labor based on losing your plug or even based on how far dilated or effaced you are. It will happen when your body is ready.

Congratulations! It sounds like you're starting to dilate. Hopefully labor will come in the next day or two!

I never really dilated -- even after 35 hours of labor, I was only 2", so I wound up having a c-section.

you are very close, sometimes it comes out like you are experiencing, or all out at once. The baby is coming soon!! I'm so happy for you. I love babies, we adopted our two at birth.
