i had unprotected intercourse on 10/25, i was ovulating at the time. my period was due 11/9...normally when i get my period i get a weeks worth of cramps b4. however right now all i feel is really tired, and dizzy sometimes and headaches everyday, i also feel slight pressure sometimes, but its very slight, i feel as though something is going on and i've been urinating a lot sometimes i wake up twice in a night, today i started having this sudden naseau i took a preg test 1 wk ago first response, which came out neg, i think it was too early to test being that it was a week after the act, now i don't have my pd was due 11/9 and i feel no signs of it watsoever. i waiting to take the next test 2wks after i'm late. right now i don't have health insurance still waiting on some paperwork, but i'm planning on going to the doctor in about 2 wks. what are the chances of me being prego? has anyone experinced this?

You can test right now, most tests are designed for the 1st day of your missed period. A week ago would have been too early, but the results would be accurate now.

Sounds like you are pregnant! I had almost the same situation happen to me, that I knew I was pregnant but the tests came up negative for the first couple of weeks. Go to the health department for a pregnancy test that will work better than the at-home tests. It was only $8, which may be more than the at-home tests you're buying, but it's worth it because you find out that day. And tell them you're urinating a lot. It could be a urinary tract infection. Urinating frequently due to pregnancy doesn't happen until you're pretty far along (five months for me). A urinary tract infection could also explain the dizziness, headaches, and nausea, but I don't know if it relates to a late period. Otherwise, I'd say you're pregnant! If you don't have health insurance, try Baby Love by Medicaid. Everything should be covered 100% (depending on your income) as long as you don't have a primary medical insurance provider. Plus, the baby is eligible for Baby Love after he/she is born. Just a couple of tips... I hope everything turns out okay!

Maybe you are pregnant and your HCG levels are not high enough to read yet.. but I am 8 weeks pregnant and the symptoms like the ones you listed had not started until about 4 or 5 weeks... And usually the HCG is responsible for the nausia and dizziness so considering your getting a negative then maybe it is correct... very hard to tell. I dont know if I was imagining it but I felt "pregnant" about 3 days before my priod was due with no symptoms and got a positive result on my EPT... A VERY faint one but deffininate line... I thought a very faint line ment negative but gut feeling made me test again a couple of days later and it was positive... Just remember what they say "a line is a line"

hiya hun.. yeah I have.. I tested with first response 1 day after I was late it came up negative ..... then I kept testing every second day.. when I was about to give up I rang my doctor the nurses said for me to test one more time and come in either way because if I wasn't pregnant something was wrong - by this stage I was 10 days late so the next day I did yet another test and by Jesus it was positive very faint but positive non the less so the next day I did another and there it was again then two days later I did another one you know just to make sure and it was there really dark pink line..... so you never know ...I think you would be okay to take another test now... as you are nearly a week late... get a twin pack so if its neg you can try again next week and if it's positive you can test again just to make sure.. good luck!!!!

Your local state health department should have a physician to see you for free and they will give you a pregnancy test as well.
