Alot of times the over the counter pregnancy tests can show as a negative when it is really a positive. It just all goes by how long you have missed, or how far you are actually along. Seeing that you have missed a period for almost 2 months. I would suggest a blood test. I just had a son not too long ago. When i was pregnant for him, the over the counter test showed negative. A blood test however the next day showed that I actually was. Good luck!

I took over 20 test in my two months that I was pregnant but didnt know it. finally on my 14th week of pregnancy I finally saw two lines. This time I am going for a blood test to be sure. Go get a blood test the soon the better and if you are preg the sooner you can go make sure that baby is healthy.

I have 3 children and have never had an inaccurate home pregnancy test. I am sure it happens but not to the extreme people like to think on here. You need to see a doc., something could be wrong if you are not pregnant.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/Mf9Q9
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

1st, have your OB, or Primary Care Dr. give you a blood test. Far more accurate. The home tests are acurate for some people, and very innacurate for others.
2nd, you don't mention weather your cycle normally goes like clockwork, or if it's on again, off again.. If it's on again off again, find a reproductive Endocronologists and get a consult.

Sounds like a visit to the doc is in order. Are your periods regular as clockwork? If not then you could just be running late, but best to speak to the doc. I hope you are pregnant...being a mum is brilliant.
Good luck!

Go to the Doctor and have a blood test taken...that is the only way to really know when it comes down to that. Hope you have good news!
