It would affect anybody including yourself!! Why put your babies lives on the line and make them suffer when they come out either with respiratory problems or having damaged lungs!! That's just sick and the way that I see it is why dont you just stab yourself in the stomach?? Please stop smoking!

cigarette smoking in pregnancy tends to cause a low birth weight (which is anything less than 5 pounds) and can cause premature labor...A twin birth usually already has both factors, so smoking could make both much worse. If this question is about you, you seriously need to stop smoking...the sooner the better, for both the health of your children and for your own!

What does your doctor say? I would think anything you put in your mouth goes into the babies. Now, how would you like smoke in your lungs when you were trying to grow into a little baby? Wouldn't you want a mother who cared and loved you so much that she would do only the best things possible for you? Wouldn't you want to come into this world with a healthy body and clear mind, then live the rest of your life with some deformity? Geeze.....It's only for nine months! It's your responsibility to stop for them, for their sake and when they're born, please don't smoke around them. Second hand smoke is just as harmful to their lungs as it is yours. Wish you the best.

It will effect any pregnancy, be it twins or not. Smoking cigarettes are the main cause for low birth rate and premature labors. Do you really want to take that chance?

birth defects --no way. Preterm labour very likely, and since you are already at a risk of preterm labour because you are having twins it is best not to smoke because the earlier they come the worse it is for them.
You could also risk still-born, which is not good when having twins either since that risk is already higher.

It can hurt ANYONE, especially tiny babies that are just beginning their lives. Stop smoking and tell everyone around you not to smoke around you. Second hand smoke can be just as harmful.

Major birth defects, and no one should smoke while pregnant, and after they are born, NEVER smoke around them, it causes major health issues with them, and it is a dirty habit sweetie, stop to save your own like as well as help your babies have a healthy one.

They can be born without limbs, or they coudl have serious respiratory problems. If you or anyone is pregnant then they need to just stop cold turkey. I did it, and never looked back. I was a month pregnant, and found out and never picked up another cigarette again. Its your childs health.
