how far along do you have to be for a blood pregnancy test to test accurately?

Melinda Elisabeth- Melinda means dark beauty, Elisabeth means consecrated to God
Owen Robert- Owen means noble lamb, Robert means brilliant.
Hayden Christopher-Hayden means meadow, Christopher means follower of Christ.
I am not expecting, I just really like these names. Do you?

I'm always real nervous about having sex with my husband in the two weeks after I ovulate before I am supposed to get my period. I always hear stories about how women have sex and it makes them start their periods. It's not that I'm immature and not ready to have a baby, because I am. I'm 22 years old, married and have been TTC for about 5 months. Is any of this really true or am I becaoming obsessive. I'm trying to have a life other than TTC, and trying not to stress, but It's really hard.... Too early to test?? I'm approx 7-9 DPO.. thanks

I guess asthma makes sense, does anyone know what causes babies to have asthma?

I am 19 weeks along and for the last week every time I sneeze I leak a little bit. I have never had this problem before, and its really embarrassing. Is this normal? I have been doing those kegel excercises for a while, and they dont seem to be helping.

i only see a little bit and it doesnt extend from both fingers does this mean its thick and im not fertile yet

and if im fertile then it will be thin and extend from finger to finger

and finally is my cervix a pointy thing inside of my vaginal canal

But he did keep trying his luck. I’m a bit lacking in knowledge but I have been told their is a chance you can still get pregnant if sperm come in contact female fluids on the outside and their is one occasion where he ejaculated very close. What are the chances of pregnancy?
Also it was 10 days after my period which is on the borderline of fertile and non fertile. an I worrying for nothing or as it been over 3 days what I’ve been told the emergency pill only works the first 3 day what should I do next.

Currently mentoring a young teen boy for 1 &1/2 years. We get along pretty good and have fun together when we do things. We do lost of stuff, hanging out, hockey games, etc.. For the most part I have kept things fun. He has shown little initiative in our relationship. He never calls me. I must initiate any contact and I do all the planning. Which for the most part is to be expected, but I believe that after a year and a half, that he should be showing some ownership of the friendship aka a phone call or something. I even asked him to call me this weekend and let me know how his soccer tournament went and he never called. I have also been catching him in lies lately about school, etc... He has problems with school and has not been open to me helping him (his mom is no help in this matter). Am I expecting too much? Should I push him to take some ownership? Should I make him bring his homework over when he comes to my house? It make me mad that he shows no ownership at all.

Okay, so I don't want to seem like the mom that freaks out about every little thing, but ever since my son was born (he is almost four months), he had this weird breathing noise that he made. I dismissed it after the doctor told me that the thing in the back of baby's throats are a little large and make a weird noise.

I kept thinking this was the reason. I also blamed a stuffy nose even though the booger sucker (for lack of a better term) and the nose saline drops did nothing for it. Lately, my babysitter pointed out how deep his chest goes when he is breathing. I figured it was because he is a chubby boy and it just looks like it is deep because his chest is further down than his tummy anyways.

Then today when I went to see him during my lunch break, I put my ear up to his chest and I could hear how congested it was. I dont want to freak out of something that isnt a big deal,but adding that with the weird snorting noises when he breaths and the sinking in his chest, I am a lit

I have a very bad flu, My throat hurts a lot, I had it for 3 days now and tried to avoid taking any madication but its really bad now. My doctor told me its just the flu and wait for it to go away but I have a fever and cant even get up from bed now, I know some medications are not safe anymore once you are on the 3rd trimester, is tylenol one of them? Is there something else I can take? My husband has been making tea but that doesnt really help anymore

Okay so I have taken two pregancy test one was on wed. and the other was just on Sunday. I was sopposed to start my period on Saturday and both of my test have been negitive. I have no signs of starting my period and I am getting a little nervous. Can an at home test be wrong or just not pick up on the signs of pregnancy this early?

I have an 18 month old daughter and lately I've noticed that she eats alot of paper or paper like things. She hasn't done it for long it's been going on for about a week. No matter how much I tell her no she can't stop eating it. She'll find any kind of paper but she mainly chews on her books and eats the cardboard on the edges. What can I do to stop her from eating it and will it cause her any harm?

I am seventeen years old and I just found out I was pregnant about two weeks ago. Ive gone to my OBGYN and everything, and I want to keep my baby because I dont believe in abortion. However my boyfriend who i'm pregnant by wants me to get an abortion. He said that if I dont have one he will still take care of the baby but that it will be very hard and he "would feel like his life is over" and I dont think he would be with me. I've been with him for a long time (over two years), and I love him very much. I know he loves me too, however I would rather keep my baby then get an abortion so that he will stay with me. What can I possibly say or do to convince him that I should keep the baby?

please dont answer if your going to tell me how stupid I am for having sex at a young age and getting pregnant....I already know what I did was wrong and dumb, and I have learned from it and am taking responsibility for my actions....helpfull answers only!

well my last period was on the 21 of sept then had sex 7th of oct and i have had alot of symptoms (bloating, nausea, no period, headaches sometimes, moody, REALLY tired and etc.)... condom was used... i run a 30 day cycle.. i have tested at a clinic last friday but they said it was neg an told me to come test again this thursday if i dont start by then well its monday and i still aint started and i not really stressed i don guess i jus tired an trying to take it easy but i wud like some insight from other ppl?.. what do you all think?(also alot of ppl in my family have hormonal imbalance and stuff so tht y i think the tests have been neg or something...)

It is hard to tell when she is hungry. She will cry and get fussy but she can always be calmed down with her pacifier or white noise. She will also sleep through feedings if I do not wake her to eat. Should I feed her at regular intervals then?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I have been having pains in my groin is this the babys head pushing or what. I lost my mucous plug on thursday (or some of it anyway) I have talked to the hospital because I have had some very scary and severe dizzy spells but I have been trying to remain somewhat active. But I had this groin pain once or tice but I have had it like 5 times today just wondering what it is. The nurses said on saturday I should be good till my doctor's appointment which is tomorrow. I have also had some bad back pain which on saturday I couldn't even roll over.
