I know that there is a blood test that can pinpoint pregnancy even before you miss your period. It is very sensitive and very accurate. Of course a doctor has to order it and they would have to have a pretty good reason why you needed to know so soon. Most of the time they will just tell you to wait until your period is 1 week late.
Good luck and I hope all goes well for you.

Doctors can detect pregnancy with a blood test three days after implantation. A urine test will work around two weeks after implantation, some times more depending on your body. However, most doctors will not do a blood test untill they get a positive urine sample, and need to prove it to the insurance company, or if you ask for one.

You know I been wanting to know that for months now! My last cycle was end of Aug into sept and well I didn't get a positive on my test until first week of Nov. I have no clue really how far along I am had the whole u/s down and well it didn't tell me much. Were thinking my daughter will come sometime in May. This sucks when your cycle is not always normal and you don't ovulate every month, which was my case. A blood test however I had early in preg with my hcg levels gave them some insight on how far along they thought I was. My last ultrasound I know my GA on it is wrong they have me down as due at the end of this month and will there is no way possible for that lol. But a good tech like one I did have was able to get the weight of my baby about 3 weeks ago she was almost 4 pounds so we kind of did the math on that one.

Blood tests are supposed to be able to tell you if you are pregnant earlier than a home urine test. But for me it was not true. I took an EPT test a couple of days after I thought I could have conceived. The test was positive. I then proceeded to take another one to confirm and it was positive again. I called my doctor and made an appointment for the next day. Before I went to my doctor's appointment I took the third test in the box and it was positive once again. They drew blood at my doctor's office and the next week they called me to tell me the hormone level was too low to really tell if I was pregnant, that the test was inconclusive and that I needed to take another test in a week. I was in fact pregnant. In my case the urine test was more accurate and way faster.

A blood test will show you are pregnant 7 days after conception and is accurate.

It is about 10 days after conception that pregnancy can be detected on their pregnancy tests.
