I used to have a lot of hatred for them; now I feel sorry for them. I was a teen mom and although I never did anything like that, I can understand. Peer pressure is very hard when you are young and to add a child to that is unbearable for some girls. I know I've had quite a few rude comments made about being a pregnant teen when I was younger. Maybe if people would stop making judgements, these things wouldn't happen as often. I don't understand why they choose to leave the baby for dead rather than take it to a hospital. I guess that's the part we'll never know.

What a horrific situation to be in for both creatures, the mother and child. Since I don't know anyone personally in that situation, I can't express a feeling about 'those' type of people. I just know life puts us in some desperate situation sometimes, and some people are in those spots with no one to turn to they think. They should try to reach out for their spirit at those times, but it easy to get lost in this race we call life. Don't believe this topic is something we should be encouraging judgmental opinions on....it's like judging a homeless person you see on the street...thinking to yourself how can they be like that, or that you would never be them.....be careful, all of us...life can turn on a dime and it is turning really fast now a days.

Anyone who leaves their c hild in a trash can or restroom should die.. They can take it to a hospital, fire department and leave it no questions ask.. They should at least do that and give the child a chance..

It's awful and i blame it on school and government programs that cut back so much on sex ed that these girls generally don't see a way out. There is so much help out there for them that they havnt tapped into yet jst because they don't know about it.
It always astonishes me how upper class white men make these descisions about the rest of the country without a look back.

I think it's sick!! I don't watched a movie a while back called "Losing Isaiah". It had Hale Berry in it. She played a addict and she left her baby in a trash can. I think most of the people that do that are addicts. It's sad!

I think the local fire department was probably just down the road, and they could have just as easily put the baby there so that the baby was safe and someone else could have loved and cared for them.

I have very little sympathy for them. There is too many state programs for them to get help from. They are just taking the easy way out.

They should be bound up so they can't move, and be dumped into large trash cans.

They are truly helpless people that deserve to be put in a mental hospital.
