Okay so I have taken two pregancy test one was on wed. and the other was just on Sunday. I was sopposed to start my period on Saturday and both of my test have been negitive. I have no signs of starting my period and I am getting a little nervous. Can an at home test be wrong or just not pick up on the signs of pregnancy this early?

I'm going to the docters tomorrow. Aren't they just going to take a urine sample too?

Yes, when I was pregnant I took the tests and they came back negative up until I was about 2.5 months preg. I had to get blood work done to get the final answer. If I were you I'd get the blood work done or buy the really expensive test that your able to tell 7 days b4 your period, they will most likely tell ya to!

There are only a few on the market that can be positive before you are supposed to start your period. Others take up to 4 or 5 days after you were supposed to start.
You can get lots of false negatives, but there is never a false positive. The test tests for the pregnancy hormone. Even a tiny bit in your system will show a positive.

It can do both. I took two different brands, EPT, First Response, and got a negative each time. My mother insisted I was pregnant, and had me go to the doctor to get a blood test. My son is now 13 months... I was in my second trimester when I found out, I had some light spotting that I thought was my period. It must have been my body chem. Most people say that the brands I used are the best. God luck!

Early on, a false negative is not uncommon. You may just not have reached a high enough concentration of hcg to trigger a positive. Wait a couple more days and then test with your first urine in the morning (it's more concentrated so the hormone levels would read higher.)

Well with a HPT you can get a false negative there may just not be enough HcG in you urine yet. I say if you don't start in three of four days take another test and if that is negative I would call the doctor.

Stressing is just going to delay your period. You're only 3 days late! That's very normal. Take another test in a few days if you still don't start your period. Tests can be wrong, but rarely.

Not necesarily wrong, but it may be too early, or you may be one in few who carries very low levels of HcG and all tests may show up negative. Only thing is, you are only 2 days late, what makes you think you are pregnant? Are you on the pill?

make a Dr appointment (get blood work) that is the best way to find out for sure. Also don't stress yourself out about maybe being pregnant cause it can delay your period.

It could be possible that you took them to earlier, or that your just late. Stressing out can delay your period. Also medication can make you late, being sick can make you late there are tons of reasons other then being pregnant (I am assuming you don't wanna be).
