Simple things are usually what they love!
Chicken nuggets with ketchup, cut up bananas, mashed potatoes, crackers, peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches, etc.

It depends on what they've been fed the first 2 years of their life. My 2 yr. old (almost 3) will eat just about anything because I've been feeding him a variety of foods since he started eating solids. Just now is he really starting to ask for junk that he sees in the store thanks to his grandma and the fact that I used to watch older kids at their own home and their mom kept a lot of junk around.
He likes fruit and cheese a lot though...

I have a 2 year old sister and she loves hotdogs. She will sometimes eat chili, but she loves hotdogs, chip, eggs, bacon, basically almost anything that is breakfast foods. She likes junk food but that's not always a good thing to give to a 2 year old unless you are giving them back to their parents. LOL!!

All children I have known love to dip foods into things. My own 22 month old loves pancakes, but syrup is too sugary and sticky. So, I let him dip them into applesause or yogurt. He loves veggie chicken nuggets in ketchup, pretzles in mustard, broccoli in low fat cheese sauce, and his favorite: peeled, cored apples in store-bought caramel sauce warmed and thinned with a little bit of milk! He's picky, but he'll eat any food if he can dip it into something else!!

noodles with butter, scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza bites, bananas, melon, berries, soup (with a straw!), cheese quesadillas, cold cuts cut up into pieces, toast, cheese sticks, yogurt drinks (put them into a sippy cup with a little milk so it's not as thick), pancakes, french toast sticks, waffles, red or yellow bell peppers cut into strips, cucumber, edamame, cooked carrots, snap peas (my youngest loves the crunch when she bites into these!)
hope this list is a good jumping off point! I found that when my girls were young they always wanted to eat what my husband and i were eating so we would make it kid sized and let them try. Not they love all sorts of foods.

Try and steer clear of salty foods (eg crackers and chicken nuggets), fatty foods (chicken nuggets, burgers, chips etc) and sweet foods (jams, jelly, candy etc). He will then grow up with a healthy diet! Give him plenty of veg and home cooked foods ...try and steer clear of processed they are not good for young children.

Well, what they'd LIKE and what you should FEED THEM are two different questions!
Feed them nutritious food -- meats, veggies, starches -- don't worry too much about the fat (such as in milk or cheese or meat) as kids do need that since they're growing so much. But be sure to keep the really bad stuff -- mainly sugar -- to a minimum!
And cook the food fairly plainly ... kids aren't too much into spices and fancy stuff!

My sons favorite food is...
Pizza, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, waffles, pancakes, poptarts, macky cheese, noodles with pharm. cheese.
Then for snacks he likes crackers, grapes, apples, or some gummie fruit candies!
Hope that helps!

would like or should eat? you know, hot dogs, mac & cheese, french fries, grilled cheese sandwiches. typical bland american kid cuisine. now, they SHOULD eat some healthy stuff most of the time. fruits and veggies should be in there somewhere.
