I am about to give birth to my first child and plan to breastfeed. In your experience did breastfeeding work straight away or did it take some time. Also how long did you breastfeed for? Thank you for your answers

We have been ttc for a year unassisted, and no luck. I made an an appointment for a consult with my military doctor (PCM) and got a referral to the infertility doc on base. I don't know what to expect or ask. Someone PLEASE help me. I have looked everywhere and searched everything I can think to search for "Military TTC." Already been to TryingToConceive.com's discussion board but it's all Tricare red tape questions. I want to know what will happen at the doctor visits? What kind of tests will I go through? That tests will they make DH take? About how long will it take to get anything done? Are there things I should or shouldn't say to Tricare or a doctor so I can get things done faster? I have so many questions and am just generally lost. I really need some direction here. Even if you aren't military, but you have been through this before, I would really like advice. I need someone to talk to, this is all so incredibly new to me. My consult with my PCM was Wednesday, Oct 25th. HELP ME

with this i had very sore nipples and boobs have noticed that the ends of my nipples looked white the other morning. also i have felt quite tired and today have had a couple of cramp in my side. have also had the strange taste in my mouth. now the question is should i have statted to spot only after a week and from this date have all these signs.

My baby is 6 month old now and she experienced passing solid stools. She cried most of the time when she is passing stools. Intially at her birth onwards, she has been drinking NAN 1 formula and eveyrthing was fine for her, till we changed the formula to NAN 2 this month, she has this problem. She had been drinking lots of water even gripe water too. We let her eat small amount of fruits too. Is there anyway to solve this problem? thanx...

I recently had sex with my finance' on the 22nd October, which was just after my period. My period is always on time and lasts about four days. A week after we had sex i had light bleeding for two days. I am now not bleeding but still have some stomach pains/cramps. My next period isnt due until the 14th of November.
I have a home preg test to do, but not sure if its too early to do to get an accurate reading.
Im not sure what this means, can anyone help?

- please no negative comments about sex before marriage..or saying i should of used protection. Me and my finance' are trying for a baby.

i read somewhere on a website that oral sex can effect the sperms mobility and motility...is this true? does anyone know? we have been trying to get pregnant now for 4 years ..been to a fertility clinic..been through artificial insemination...doctors dont see a reason we cant get pregnant...so we just keep trying and are willing to try just about anything...so if oral sex is interfering we will not do it while i am fertile...please help!

but i suffer with depression and anxiety and im worried that i might not cope very well. Im 26 and very scared about the whole thing! My partner is extremely supportive but im worried that i may become down and reject the baby.

I am 11 weeks pregnant and i am so ill with flu and what feels like a chest infection!!! did anyone else have anything like this when pregnant or does anyone know of anything i can take?, please help i have phoned my doctor to ask but the god damn NHS is that bad that they are too busy to speak to me!!! I thought that by the 6th month of pregnancy the hormones had calmed down in my gf but i spoke too soon, we got in another stupid arguement and she went off.. I am 45 and only get a period every six months now, so I presume I am going through the menopause.
My last period was 5 months ago and one b4 that was six months b4 and the one previous to that too.
I was married for 22 years and ex had had the snip when second child was born. so I didnt need to use contraception.
I have been seperated for year and half now and have had a new partner for the past six months.
I dont really want to go on the pill but I also dont wish to get pregnant. I am using condoms at mo but we both hate those. My partner also had come out of a long relationship so we both know that we wont be passing on any std's. Advice please on the chances of me getting pregnant bearing in mind the gap between my periods

I found out today that i am pregnant with my second baby. We told our parents at 5 weeks first time around cos we were so excited, but my sister had a couple of miscarriages recently at around 8 weeks. I have a new partner and the only thing we row over is my 15 yr old son.
He isnt too bad, comes in on time, washes up if i ask, and ask and ask. But he is very imature and agravates me and my partner by being really silly. acting clownish. he also swears a lot.
the trouble starts when my partner tries to intervene which he doesnt often, only when hes had enough. then we clash and he says i make too many excuses for my son. We need to be united in the way we deal with this to diffuse the situation, as i dont want to lose the great relationship i have with my son and dont want to lose my partner either.
