It depends on the kind of stress some kinds like anemia might makeyou menstruate early other kinds make you menstruate late. I once had a 93 day cycle when I was very stressed and actually I saw a doctor and started taking hormones just before I finally got my period. I don't know if they helped or it was a coincidence. I was more regular after taking hormones though.

OK, you have said your not pregnant but haven't said how you tested. Pregnancy tablets contain many things to help maintain a healthy pregnancy but it doesn't contain things that will stop your period or even make you test positive. It's a good idea to take these pregnancy tablets before pregnancy as it will prepare your system. If you have done a urine test that you figured was negative, then its normal to test negative and be pregnant especially as you would only be in your very early stages of pregnancy.
Going from your period I used a due date calculator and these are the results, hopefully it makes some sense to you and your dates match give or take a few days of course.
Estimated conception: 10th of October, 2006
Estimated due date: 3rd of July, 2007
Estimated fetal age: 5 weeks.
I was 9 weeks and had a negative result from the urine test, I had a blood test which is the most accurate and got a positive test. Good luck and best wishes. Hope it works out the way you want it.

I'm afraid I don't know what 'pregnacare' is, I'm assuming it's a contraceptive? It is not uncommon for the timing of your period to change when you start taking new medication, so if you're certain your not pregnant, then I would worry too much about that for now.
However, the fact that you are experiencing pain is unusual. If you are not feeling better in a few days, I would suggest you see your doctor, as there may be something wrong. Sometimes certain medications just don't agree with your body!

I don't really have a answer to your problem but just consoling, I have PCOS and rarely have my period but still suffer from cramps and mood swings! CURSES! You should really see your doctor though as there may be some underlying causes. You should know what is normal and what is not or what is safe for you to take and what is not. You should get in to your doc as soon as possible for a follow-up and tell him/her about your problem and see what to do about it.
