I'm 15, and my bedtime is 10:00.
I'm trying to convince my parents that this is unreasonable, and that no one even HAS bedtimes once they turn 12 or so!
What's your opinion?

and when in the house with just me and his 18 year old sister, he is comfortable enough to still suck his thumb. He wont when anyone else around though. What can I do to persuade him not to. \I have threatened, offered rewards. walked out the room. I hate to see him doing it as he looks so stupid but he just laughs and does it even more when i mention it

They're lovely kids and all, but i can't understand much of what they say. They're 6 and 5 year old girls. i don't want to offend their parents, but i (among others) think that they should look into getting their girls to a doctor about their speech.

they walk slow, they talk slow and they shop slow. i am always tempted to shout 'free mints at the local post office" so they move a little quicker!

She seems to get stuck on a word. It began to show up more after the first week. Other than the irritability when it is wearing off, I have noticed no other side effects.

I am using an ovulation kit and have a question. I couldn't use it Saturday because I hadn't gotten another kit. My husband and I had sex Saturday night. I took one Sunday morning and it read positive. I assumed that maybe it would also be positive this morning (Monday) and it wasn't.

My question is how many days does it normally show positive? Also, once you have one positive reading, do you keep using them each day (till the end of the box) or do you assume that is correct and save the rest for the next month?

Eveything Ive read says that a newborn only cries for a reason, my 8wk old cries alot I have had her seen by professionals and followed all the advice colic, etc.
But she continues to cry and I cant put her down in the daytime hardly at all. Should I be letting her cry for longer? currently I allow her to cry whilst Im busy but she seems unable to settle herself even when left for longer periods.
Any suggestions/ideas?

TV shows - particularly soaps - always like to pretend that men are keen about everything surrounding their wife's pregnancy and love to be there at the birth...

But I certainly don't... and I don't think many other men do, either.

Let's see how many there are here...!

I'm not pregnant yet, just thinking about names with my hubby. I'm trying to remember that "baby" names eventually become "grown-up" names, so just let me know what you think.

Victoria Lee
Monica Jean
Jaxson Charles
Jacob Otto

Thanks in advance for you answers.
