I currently have a copper IUD in place (no hormones). I love it and it has worked really well for me. My husband and I want to try to get pregnant this summer. I know that we can start trying as soon at it is removed. Can anyone tell me if they truly had success right after having an IUD removed? I welcome any and all advice!!

I'm not being judgemental, I'm just stating the obvious. The parents are older in these shows, and they can't handle the pressure of a 3 yr old freaking out. Why do older moms give younger moms such a harsh review, just like in the recent babytalk magazine about young and old moms, the older mother's had very rude things to say. Why be judgemental, we are all going through the same thing in life, why can't we just all get along?

Its dark when you close your eyes. They must not get much sleep.
What do you tell someone the dark will not harm you when you are alone?

I have a five year old child that humps the floor. He does it when he's laying down watching t.v. or he just lays anywhere and starts doing it. He's been doing it since he's been about 5 months. Will he ever outgrow this phase? He even gets a lil hard-on and gets sweaty at times.

Is it possible to not have sore boobs as a symptom of pregnancy? Or any change at all in them to begin with? I have been having cramps and headaches and missed period, and nausea and heartburn etc, is it still possible to be pregnant or do all women have changes in there boobs within the first few weeks?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and i've noticed that when i've gone to the toilet there is a red/brown colour in my discharge, like when you're about to have your period. Is this normal? I've had no cramping or pain in my abdomen at all so don't know whether to stress about this or not. please help! this is my 2nd child.

I live in Ohio and I work in a distribution center. For the last 2 weeks, I was placed on light duty, which suited my doctor and I fine. On Thursday, I was asked to leave work because my doctors slip that says I cannot lift over 25 pounds because it may cause premature labor was not specific enough. I didn't think it was more specific than that. I was also told that this was a first time for an employee, so they were not sure how to handle it. But after speaking to the lady that use to HR there for the last 10 years, I found out 2 other women had been pregnant and placed on light duty for the duration of their pregnancies. She told me to look up the pregnancy discrimination act, but my PC is so slow, that when I search, it freezes and shuts down. I would love any kind of help because my bills did not stop, in fact, I have to start paying on my delivery now to have it paid off before the big day!

Ok... I am kind of going out of my mind. I am pregnant with number one so I am worrying about everything... I had morning sickness from week 6-week 13. Now at 16 weeks, I don't feel pregnant anymore... I still haven't gained any weight, I can't feel the baby, or the nausea I was feeling before. No cramping or blood at all in this pregnancy, and everything was fine at all my appts... but I feel like something is wrong (again)... Why don't I feel anything at all anymore? (Other than a few cravings/dislikes)... thanks for any help you can give.
***Dr appt and ultrasound set up for next week.

My son is so cute and funny. But if he sees me watching him singing or dancing he stops and runs away. He has also memorized Dr. Seuss ABC book and it's really cute. I want to capture this on film but he will not do it. Any tips without bribing him with candy or food?

I know as with any birth-control, if you miss it, it isnt effective that whole month. Now, I am taking this "Micronor" while breastfeeding. And I have missed it quite a few times this month. My question(s) are, If you have sex on the day you missed the pill, what is the risk of getting pregnant, and... If you take the pill x2 the next day, and are pregnant, any risks? I cant find the instructions, or risks, anywhere, and I thought maybe someone else out there was on it, or new a few things about it. Thanks.!

If you have watched Nanny 911 , what do you think of their discipline style. Please answer only if you have children you are currently raising under the age of 18. I know what the old schoolers like me think :)

ive always said i never want kids, but girlfriend wants them :/ - thing is with me i like my freedom and own space... i'm 25 and know for a fact your life is over once a child is involved, (tied down/sleepless nights/changing nappys grrr)!!

some neighbours who live near me are in their mid 30's, no kids...just a couple who go out to the local pub/go to the cinema/meal (one or the other) every night after a days work and i think to myself "i want to be like that" (just me and my partner).

would love to hear other peoples views about parenting, is your life really over? :/
