Okay, I spot very very lightly the first day and then I got heavy my second day and my husband and I are trying to conceive and I am trying to do the tracking day and I can't figure out what day I put in that was my first day of my period. What do you think, spotting or heavy?

My doctor told me the day you start heavy bleeding that's actually like a period. Good luck to you.

I would call spotting as the first day of your period. i would also coincide what you think is your ovulation day with your cm...if it is clear and real stretchy then it means you are definitely ovulating..

hi when you started to spot..is when your period started...Ive been on BC pills and they tell you to start the pill after the last day of your period..so when I asked my gyno about it, that is what she told me...so it comes from a good source..good luck conceiving...

I would say heavy, but honestly, one day isn't going to make much difference if you ask me...but I'm no dr. If you want some help predicting your ovulation days go to babycenter.com. Good luck!!!!
