I want Bella as a first name, my hubby agreed if he can have Tessie as the middle name. He always has to have a Irish name in our chidrens names.
So how does Bella Tessie sound to you & what comes to your mind when you hear it?

Thanks

As a hispanic I can tell you that if you were to write that name down on a piece of paper and show it to a spanish speaking/reading person she would read gorgeous, pretty, cute, and all those nice little words. It's a great name.

Bella Tessie = Beautiful Tessie

Bella and Tessie are nice...but I am not sure about it together. Seems to clash two styles. And I think it depends on your last name as well. Bella Tessa sounds more regal. Middle names are really not used a lot, when you hear them--you do tend to think--oh, family name or something. Especially when they don't flow...or seem to go. My only real advice is to keep sleeping on it and don't decide til she's born. My husband is part dutch and wanted DIRK. YIKES. So, I took my whole 9 months searching for alternatives. I won.

So sorry, but I think of a cat or dog. Many animals are named Bella.
Also Bella seems Italian to me. You always here bella bella bella in all the pizza and spaghetti commercials. Must mean something Italian.
I also know an Italian Restaurant called: Bella Italiano

But ya know what. You pick what you like. I love uncommon names.

I love Bella, but I don't like Bella Tessie at all.

It's different, but I don't like it. Tessa is a cute name though. It would be better if it was Tessie Bella and you just called her Bella.

I like them individually but I keep repeating them together. They don't flow together really. Can you shorten Tessie to Tess and it sounds more fluent. Bella Tess. Yeah, I like that.

I think it is very pretty and very unique. These days people are trying so hard to come up with funky names like Crimson and Rainbow...it's nice to hear a graceful and beautiful name like Bella.

The first things I think of are a movie and book:

Belle from "Beauty and The Beast" and Tess from "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" :)
