I'm 10 weeks pregnant and i've noticed that when i've gone to the toilet there is a red/brown colour in my discharge, like when you're about to have your period. Is this normal? I've had no cramping or pain in my abdomen at all so don't know whether to stress about this or not. please help! this is my 2nd child.

This usually is a sign of a problem baby in distress (may or may not miscarry) If I were you I would have your doctor paged, There isn't much they can do at 10 weeks, they will prob. tell you to go on bedrest & not lift anything heavier than 8oz. that is what they did w/ me. But they will also want to check you, so make sure to get in tommorow morning. If you pass anything grey or silver in color it is tissue (baby) go to ER right away if this happens. And pray it helped me + made it less stress full. Good Luck, you are in my prayers!

You should go to your doctor you may be having a miscarriage but then again I am 13 weeks and when I found out I was pregnant I was 5 weeks and I bled up until I was 9 weeks doctors told me to stay in bed for a few days and NO SEX. If I was to miscarry there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. Its natures way of getting rid of a preg. that was not developing normally. Just what ever you try to not to do anything for a while until you see your doct. good luck

I would call your doctor and make an appointment to be seen just in case there is something wrong. I hope everything is ok and the baby is fine.

I'd recommend going to a doctor. That happened to my friend at 8 weeks and she miscarried.

If you are having any kind of bleeding or spotting I would say. GO TO THE ER, better to be safe then sorry. You dont want to regret not going later, if its something serious.

As long as it isn't bright red and very heavy I doubt you have anything to worry about. Just to be sure call your Dr that is what you pay them for!!

Please go to the ob/gyn. I have 2 kids. I was just pregnant with my 3rd. I was 11 weeks along when this happened to me & I miscarried. Please go to the doctor. You could be fine, but just to be safe.

if its bright red blood its not a good sign and you should be calling your doc right away. if its brown, old blood, it could simply be from irritation (did you have sex recently?, or a pelvic exam?)
