i had a pregnancy test on the 23rd of oct and it was positive. i went for scanning on 26th but the doctor couldnt see any pregnancy. i decided to go for another p-test but it was still positive . was the scanning too early?

Am 25, I saw my menses last on the 15th Sept. n my cycly is 31days. I had sex on the 24th Sept. and until now i haven't seen my period. I have don't pregnacy test twice but it was confirmed negative. Can something be wrong with my system?? Pls help.

There is this lady that lives in the same small town as me, I think shes fairly lonely so when I saw her I would just smile and say hello, just being nice. Next minute shes talking to my kids and asking questions about them, which then progressed to playing with them when we saw her in the supermarket and now shes found out where I live and coming around knocking on my door! I'm really sick of it and just want her to leave me and my kids alone. I realise shes lonely but why me???!!!! Any ideas how to get her to leave me and my poor kids alone in a nice way??

but last week i found out that i was 10 weeks pregnant, i still live at home with my mum and dad and my boyfriend. i only earn £776 a month and my boyfriend earns a £1000 a month, we both have cars and dont pay any rent at the moment. my dad took the news badly and said i should have abortion but i couldnt do that so does anyone what beneifits i'd be entitled to and anything about getting a council house?

Not JUST teen mothers, but young mothers? There are many woman that have children at the age of 30 & still can't take care of them. Why does someone being young automatically make them a bad parent? Please don't get me wrong their are some younger people that don't have the slightest clue, but why does everyone have to be sterotyped because someone else made a mistake? Do people not realize that just a little over 100yrs ago people had kids at the age of 15 & that was wonderful?! I just really truly want to know why women, yes women not girls are judged by the decisions they've made? Sometimes a young pregnancy was an accident others on purpose, but having that beautiful little baby.. Doesn't that show they're stronger than some? Even if the baby is put up for adoption... That has to be a hard to step, even for a 15,16,or even 22yo. But the point is how can someone, no more more importantly can a woman criticize another woman for bringing life into this world?

My best friend's 6-month-old baby gets held ALL the time. If you put him down he is okay for a while but then starts to cry, so they pick him back up. I am worried that they might be hindering his development by doing this. According to the charts that I have seen he should, at his age, be able to roll all the way over and sit up by himself or with little help, but he can't. I tried to tell her that maybe she holds him too much but she didn’t believe me. What should I do? Am I stepping out of line?

I am on the pill but did miss a few a week or so after last having intercourse. I have swollen breasts but no tenderness (am still taking the pill). The last few weeks my arms and legs have felt dead, I have lost my appetite and the last few days I feel a heavyness in my lower abdoman. What do you think? I already have one child and didnt begin any pregnancy symptoms until after I stopped taking the pill?

My son is 10, and we live about a 10 minute walk from school. It's a fairly safe route, with one set of traffic lights (although for a pretty busy road). My biggest concern is that he looks quite a bit younger than he actually is - do you think that would make him more vulnerable?

He is a very sensible boy, good at crossing the road etc. I'm just wondering what parents of other kids this age think.

I have a 8 year old in grade 2 and a nearly 7 year old in grade 1. I used to try and get them to bed 7 to 7.30pm but now they are not getting to bed until around 8pm. Friday and Saturday nights they are allowed to stay up later to watch a DVD or if we go to friends' places etc. Just wondering what time other kids at this age are going to bed. They both wake around 6 - 6.30am.

She wanted me to pick her up from afterschool care one day, but I was really busy. She usually understands but this time she worried me. She sent me a text message that said "everybody always lets me down" I replied, why? she replied, "Y ur 1 of them!"

I stopped what I was doing and went to get her. When I got there she asked me, "Are you here to get me?" I said, Yea...ofcourse. Well she burst into tears before we got in the car. She said she was having problems with some of her friends. It sounds legit. But I spent all summer long with her and she doesn't have any friends. I have never met any of her friends.
