Every woman if different how they will react to the pill. The pill is a very effective widely used contraception. So give it a go and if you get fat then stop taking it!!!

Novelon is certainly an effective pill and true that it totally depends on ur body if it makes u fat or not . I have taken the same for few months after marriage . However i suggest that its always better to avoid any artificial means atleast till u have ur first child incase u dnt have one already . A lot of women taking pills for a very long term have had problems in conceiving ... it cud not be the pills necessarily but from the examples i saw it got me thinking and i stopped taking them . A condom , vaginal gels etc are safer for ur body .... However after a first child there r lot of other options available to women . So u can decide depending on ur priority .

Taking "The Pill" can encourage the lay down of Female Fat in areas such as the Breasts and Hips. It is artficial hormone which makes the body think that it is pregnant therfore you do not ovulate. The female body stores it's female hormone in the fat cells in ihe body. Women naturally have more fat in their bodies for this reason than men which is why men loose weight easier tham women. One advantage is that female fat is not as dangerous as male fat

dear bency, its not that all women become fat who take pills!! me for instance have maintained my weight, and my sister has slimmed up!! so i guess it depends upon your hormonal makeover that causes the pills to react diffferently. you can try other pills if you think it may fatten you. hope you get a slimming one!!! cheeerio!

not necessarily, it depends on the person taking it which is why you should have regular reviews so that your dcotor can prescribe you a different pill if you are suffering bad side effects
